Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

MalaysiaHot water was run out during shower. It took 2 hours to have another round of hot water. Room is extremely small.
Quiet place with nice view.

AustraliaNot a big criticism but we felt the pictures were a bit misleading. They made out that each unit had its own unobstructed view of the mountains, in a remote setting. However the units mostly look over each other (tho still private). However the upside of this is the units are very close to all the best cafes and restaurants in the town.
Beautiful self contained “tiny” houses in great location, in the heart of town. Restaurant is a short walk across the road and has a stunning view. We had a beautiful high quality dinner.

United StatesIt was very cold throughout the night and the lack of hot water made it hard to warm up.
The property is in a beautiful location. The mountain behind it is stunning and the short walk to the sea is incredible.

United StatesNot a lot of hot water - take short showers. The even number buildings you must park on the side of the area, then walk across lumpy unmowed grass to your cabin (no walkways). We were lucky it wasn't wet. Odd number cabins have a parking area in front of each. The door lock/slide system was confusing to us old Americans. Our 2nd day a house keeper kindly showed us how to operate. Big couch, but no table/desk.
Great large bed. Nice bathroom. Location.

United StatesThe cottages have a musty smell that was bit overpowering. I would still stay here but hope they can be dried/aired out a bit.
The cottages were perfect for our 1 night stay. Communication was clear re: check in and out, the location is great and the cottages provided everything we needed from a comfy bed, clean shower and coffee/tea with a kettle.

RomaniaPlease take care of the birds around, they are agressive, it s a bit of a challenge to enter the room cause they are flying around and super close to people, also don t dream about spending time outside on the small terrace
I liked the concept, the design, the fact that it was clean and had what I needed. Also a big plus is that you can arrive whenever

GermanyHowever, there were only two glasses, two cups, and two disposable spoons – no plates, cutlery, or additional dishes. So, if you're planning to prepare your own breakfast, be aware that you’ll need to bring your own utensils.
The cottage was clean, nicely designed, and looked great both inside and out. It came with a fridge, microwave, kettle, and free instant coffee and tea – perfect for a light snack or warm drink. The location is stunning – quiet, scenic, and a perfect base for exploring the area. Overall, a peaceful and pleasant stay in a beautiful setting.

United KingdomIt would have been helpful to have a couple of plates or bowls & basic cutlery in the room, given that there is a fridge, microwave & kettle. There were just 3 small mugs & one glass.
Great location in Arnarstapi, a short walk from the cliffs & sea. Comfortable rooms & great view. Perfect base for visiting the nearby national park.

GermanyEasy self check-in. Small but comfortable rooms. Very clean. Warm water is (as communicated) restricted as it is heated by a boiler system. However: while the little houses look beautiful on pictures, they don’t quite do the impression justice. The big windows and view open out to the road and walkway between the separate huts, so people walk by the bedroom frequently. If you value privacy, you will be prompted to close the curtains as soon as it gets darker. We were lucky to have one of the last houses in the row, so we did not have another house right in front of us. Most of the other huts are not as lucky. There is no view of the mountain from inside the rooms. Also, be aware while there is a small refrigerator, a water kettle and a microwave, there is no silverware or dishes provided. The whole setup is very simple. However, the location in Arnastapi is beautiful. There are several gorgeous sights to see in the area. So if you are looking for a place to sleep for day activities, this place is nice. We just imagined it a little differently than it actually was.

LuxembourgGorgeous location. Great place. It’s my second time there. The staff from the restaurant are very nice. The cleaning staff too. I just happen to forget something and they told me I would be contacted back but they never did. Arnastapi is a great place to be. It’s an important place for me as I have family stories there. I totally recommend sleeping here and visit the neighbouring landscapes.

PolandAbsolutely breathtaking location! The view from the cottage of the Atlantic Ocean, mountains, and just a few distant houses was incredible. I’d stay here again, even if it meant sleeping on the floor. The cottage itself looks very cozy from the outside. Inside, it’s a bit basic, but everything was clean and comfortable.
