The very narrow stair case. It is about nerve racking going up and down but the room was worth it.

The hotel room was so luxurious and spacious. It was my wife’s 30th birthday and it just felt like a treat.

I didn’t mind but steep stair case to climb. Nothing was lovely and would stay again.

Great location can walk around Amsterdam very easily. The room very clean, lovely furnishings and detail in room. Lovely host who was helpful and has written fascinating book on the history of the hotel.

Fokko was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was quiet with a very nice view over the canal. We used the tram to get around during our stay and this was very close to the hotel.

The location was perfect. It was on a beautfiul street just a quick walk to everything. The owner was so knowledgable and gave us so many tips on local sites and treats.

Just a comment : some minor repairs are needed :blinds, bed support. And be careful with stairs (very narrow and steep)

Beautiful room, we stayed in the dream room and it was exactly that. Light, airy and had a lovely sized balcony. Small kitchenette so we could make tea and coffee and fill up our water bottles. The shower was lovely and powerful and plentiful toiletries. Comfy bed too. Thank you for a wonderful stay

The stairs.

The room was huge and a wonderful little balcony overlooking the canal. The only issue was you need to have strong legs if you have to stay on an upper floor. We had, and I counted them,lol,...38 stairs each way.

Everything was great.

We had a wonderful stay at Amstel Corner Hotel! Fokko is an amazing host — he welcomed us warmly and made sure everything was perfect from the start. The location is ideal: close to everything, yet incredibly peaceful. Our room had a lovely little balcony facing a beautiful garden, which made our stay even more special. The accommodation was fully equipped which made it feel like a home away from home. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this charming hotel — we would definitely stay here again!

The stairs are steep and shallow. There was very little storage space in my room.

Charming canal side hotel with self catering rooms. Located in an interesting neighbourhood with convenient access to public transportation. My room had a balcony overlooking a green garden space.

Very steep stairs inside and going to the third floor maybe difficult if you are not aware along with luggage.

Clean and up to date rooms. There are some eateries nearby and close to transportation options.

This was a delightful stay. Outside of the city center but easily accessible by city tram. We actually walked most days just to see the sights and canals of this gorgeous city. The bed was very comfortable and the owner was friendly!

The only negative I could find was the stairs as we were at the very top and although this was fine for us, some people may struggle. wouldn’t recommend for the elderly etc.

It was out of town enough to avoid the crowds but close enough to walk into the main part. the owner was brilliant, we flew out on the day Heathrow closed so our original flight was cancelled and we managed to rebook one from a different airport and he was so accommodating and understanding. We turned up late at night in the end but he was there to meet us and never made us feel it was inconvenient. correspondence with Fokko was brilliant and he was there if we needed him! We stayed in the Play Room, spotlessly clean every day we were there which was lovely!

I thought maybe a couple of complimentary water bottles might be an idea. The small bottles of shampoo/body lotion had already been used. New would be good.

Friendly and relaxed, quiet , easy to find. Loved the style of the hotel mixing old Amsterdam with new. The owner of the house gave us a book explaining the history of the house and who had lived there , very interesting. I would definitely go back.
