Hotel Clemens is in a central location with many attractions only 30 minutes away by walking, and that is the max distance. Room is small, but very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was superb. Daniella and the other staff members we talked to were all very friendly and accommodating. The only drawback is the stairs. But we knew that we had to climb stairs, so it was not a surprise. I definitely recommend Hotel Clemens.

Be aware there are a lot of steep narrow stairs to get to reception and the rooms, with no lift. Carrying luggage was an adventure. However this would not put us off from recommending the hotel or perhaps returning one day

The location was great, walking distance of the train station and main city sights The room was basic but comfortable and clean. The air con was a must as we were at the top of the house and it was hot and sunny during our stay. Although our room didn’t have tea/coffee making facilities, The lobby was a good space to sit for a change of scenery. The breakfast choice was ample with a good variety of food. Free wi fi The staff were friendly and very helpful.

Lovely little boutique hotel! I stayed in one of the tiny single person rooms but I was glad to have that budget option and it suited my needs just fine. The balcony is lovely! I would come back here.

Great location. Boutique hotel with Dutch charm. Staff exceptional. Great breakfast. Has the infamous Dutch stairs but the staff took care of our luggage going up and down. Close to train station.

The location of the hotel is very good, walking distance to everywhere. It is very close to public transportation. I had the opportunity to get to know Amsterdam closely. The hotel is very clean, the hotel staff is very good, they helped in every way. Don't be intimidated by the stairs, they help you. The hotel's breakfast is very good. I liked everything in the hotel, it made Amsterdam feel nice. Thank you. If I come back one day, I will choose this hotel again in Amsterdam. I loved your cats very much, may they last long. I hope to see you soon.:)

The construction in the front of the property makes getting a taxi difficult.

The hospitality, locational you. and food. Don’t let the stairs intimidate you just place one foot in front of the other and use the handrails. I’m petrified of stairs (bifocals) but I did it and so can you. Sammy always helps with the luggage, up and down.
