Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GreeceThe Staff was polite and helpful, the breakfast was tasty and the location very good to explore the city on foot. There is also a tram stop and a bus stop in 5 minutes walking distance if somebody wants to use the public transportation which is super easy.

GreeceIt would be very useful to have a small fridge in the room. The stairs leading from the upper floors to the ground floor were very narrow, steep and dangerous. There is no good soundproofing in the rooms
The breakfast was ok, not many choices. The rooms were generally clean. The location is good.

United KingdomRooms are basic but absolutely all you need for a city break! Rooms were spotless and the complimentary coffee in the breakfast room was perfect, especially with it being so cold during our stay. The staff couldn’t be more helpful, this is our second time returning and would absolutely recommend

TurkeyThe rooms didn't provide disposable slippers or similar amenities. If you're the type of person who can't be comfortable without them, don't forget to bring your own slippers
The hotel breakfast was truly fantastic, offering a great variety of breads and other pastries, including delicious croissants. In addition to the bakery selection, there were 3-4 types of cheese, olives, fresh greens, and various cold cuts like salami. The hot buffet also featured 4-5 different options. I was particularly impressed by the inclusive choices, such as oat and soy milk. There were also plenty of healthy options like fresh fruit, oats, granola, and yogurt. They offered 5-6 different types of jam, and my personal favorite was the mixed berry one. As for beverages, you could enjoy as much fruit juice as you liked during breakfast. Furthermore, tea, coffee, and hot chocolate were available 24/7 with unlimited access. A standout detail for me was the choice between drinking from a porcelain mug or a paper cup; having both options was very convenient, whether I wanted to relax there or take my drink to go. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay. If I were to visit Amsterdam again, I would definitely stay here. The location is excellent; you can reach the city center in about 15-20 minutes on foot. It is also equidistant to the Museum District, meaning it's right in the heart of all the must-see spots. Transportation is very convenient as well. There is a tram line passing right in front of the hotel, and you can access bus stops within a 500-meter walk. I reached the hotel incredibly easily from the airport using bus number 391, and I used the same bus to get back to the airport just as easily. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Another major plus is the cleanliness of the bathrooms—they were truly spotless. While the rooms were also very clean, bathroom cleanliness is a top priority for me, and this hotel definitely exceeded my expectations in that regard

AustraliaHonestly nothing, was perfect for my needs. Would stay again.
Honestly kind of exceeded expectations. A lot of accommodation is quite expensive in Amsterdam, and this place was kind of in the middle. I also received a free room upgrade because I book a lot with Booking.com which was very nice. Honestly no complaints, employees were also very friendly.

Overall, it was a good, value-for-money choice for a city break. The location is the hotel's biggest asset. It's perfectly situated within Amsterdam's famous Canal Ring (Grachtengordel), a UNESCO World Heritage site. You're immediately immersed in the postcard-perfect scenery of bridges and historic houses. For sightseeing, it's incredibly convenient: · While the immediate block has a few local shops, you're only a 5-minute walk from busier areas with more restaurants, cafes, and boutiques. · It's walking distance to major museums; the Museumplein (home to the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, and Stedelijk) is about a 15-20 minute stroll or a quick tram ride away. · For arrival and departure, it's very practical: the Airport Express (Bus 397) stop is less than a 10-minute walk away, making the trip to and from Schiphol Airport straightforward.

FranceThough the hotel was very clean, rooms were nice and spacious, the corridors were a bit tight (which otherwise makes sense because the building must be optimised to have more rooms).
The staff were extremely kind. From the moment we entered we felt very welcomed. The rooms are very clean and have all basic toiletries available, They have a great coffee station with variety of coffees and teas, available 24hs and unlimited. The location was great, just a few minutes to the main square. Trams were around the corner of the street to go beyond the city centre but all main attractions were walkable so you don’t really need to take any transport.

Fantastic hotel! Such a gem in a perfect location with Vondelpark on doorstep and main city attractions! Ahmed is amazing such a friendly guy and knows everywhere in Amsterdam. Clean, superb breakfast with good vegan options too! Free coffee & water such a nice touch. One of my favourite city break hotels I have stayed in, will definitely be staying here again when in Amsterdam didn’t want to leave. Booked a single & twin room in the basement and surprisingly the twin room was on the second floor with a balcony which was a lovely bonus
