Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

LuxembourgThe Dude is a good food option but the staff is really struggling to meet customers’ requests. If you need any support at the check in (in case the on line one doesn’t work) - reception desk is always overwhelmed and waiting period could be pretty long. Finally - the suites are comfortable big room for a couple - for a family of 4 they are acceptable but small
Very informal atmosphere and (some) really kind person of the staff

RussiaThere was very strange noice from radiators in the night time (sounds like clicks). TV did not work for watching any channels.. There is no good mirror for women, my wife had a problem with makeup.
Very friendly staff. Very good location, 30min by walk to Johan Cruyff Arena and to Ziggo Dom and 5min walk to the metro station (M53). Clean and large family room includes coffee machine, microwave oven and small fridge. Good parking area with reasonable price.

RomaniaIn a lovely, quiet area, quite distant from the overcrowded city center, from our perspective a very convenient location. There are adequate connections with the center within up to 10minutes walk. The staff was very helpful and discrete. We had booked a studio apartment which was very nicely set up and convenient for our family with 2 kids. Comfortable main bed and even the couch was nice. The kitchenette is not for cooking - you have a microwave in place and a fridge, which are both very useful, but no cooking is allowed. They do have a nice restaurant in the hotel and some options nearby. Supermarket was close too. I particularly appreciated that every day they refilled the coffee capsules. Lifesaver :).

BelgiumFood at the bar, fresh and tasty (big plus). Breakfast, bread was a little over passed, vegetables also, not many choices as we found in other facilities (small minus). Big minus for not having the parking included in the price of our studio even though they have an underground parking lot.Generally good conditions because of the availability of staff which we're good English speakers and friendly. Metro station is not far away.

SpainThe mattresses were a bit thin and not very comfortable. We asked for more pillows to make it a little more comfortable. The room was really warm, and the air-con/temp control didn't seem to work well. The towels were really small. If you have long hair you'll need to ask for more. The Smart TV didn't work great. There was national TV, despite it saying it had Netflix, we were told they were switching systems and it wasn't currently working. This seemed like an excuse. Disappointed we couldn't use the TV at all, not being Dutch speakers... What is the point of hotels buying TVs for rooms and having Netflix on there, if they are unusable? We were told to use the Cinema room instead...which was always occupied. Continental breakfast was awful, and very over priced! It was toast, that didn't toast properly, cereal and cold meat. No fruit, eggs, pastries. Go to the bar for breakfast instead, much better choice and value for money!
The staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful. The communal areas were brightly decorated, inviting and had a variety of board games, pool table, table tennis, air hockey. The cafe area was lovely. Food and drink were great from the bar. There was a cinema room, which we didn't get to use as it was always being used by other people. The rooms were comfortable. It had a microwave, fridge, dishwasher, kettle, great shower, table and chairs, etc. The location was good, 5 minute walk to the metro station, easy trip into the city.

NorwayThere was a stain near the night stand which look like vomit. I didn’t dare to touch it but luckily it didn’t stink. The location is a bit in convenient for city sightseeing but that was not the purpose of my stay anyway. Lastly, on our last night (13 February 2024), we ran out of shower gel. We informed the receptionist around 4pm for which she said the housekeeper will be informed. We got to our room at around 5.30pm the room was cleaned (did not requested for this) but the shower gel is still empty. We called the reception again for which we got told to be patient and the staffs are busy with something more important. We called again at around 9pm to remind the reception. This time she was shouting for us to be patient and that all is busy with other things. Her tone was like we were begging for the shower gel. The problem was not the 5 hours wait for something so basic. The problem was the receptionist attitude and manners. Considering the quality of my stay and all other staffs that were so nice and professional, it was a huge disappointment to encounter such a rude lady on our last day.
The room was clean and quiet which is the two most important things for hotel. I travel for work almost one every month and normally never stay in hostel like this but Via exceeded my expectations. I can say that my stay was better than Hilton in London and tbh one of the best so far (mostly due to the cleanliness). The cleaner team was also very polite and always ask if we need anything else even though we did not want them to clean the room.

United KingdomI wish there were more restaurants nearby, although this isn’t the fault of the hotel.
Hotel is located about 10 min walk from the train station and minimarket. Staff are really helpful. Late check out at 1pm costs €20. Very reasonably priced considering the high quality of facilities.

PortugalThe breakfast is very basic for the price. It does not even include a basket of fresh fruit such as bananas. Coffee machine only offers americano. Adding a bit more variety would already elevate it and feel the price worth it. If we had known before buying we would have just gotten the english breakfast from the bar. Sad some of the games in the common area had to be paid for given the high accommodation price...

Really nice place to stay if traveling by car, with parking available at the hotel. The metro is about a 10-minute walk away. Meals are available at the hotel, or you can prepare your own in the kitchen. The bar area has a lively atmosphere, there’s a separate room for watching Netflix, and a space for kids’ activities
