The property is worn out. The hot water in room #10 was not even warm enough for you to take a bath. Only one chair, no table in the room.

Excellent location, close access to restaurants, bar, supermarket and downtown. Good for short stay. The bath towels are clean. Friendly staff. Simple, complimentary breakfast is provided. Room size is big. Thanks to the property for the free luggage storage services. Good value of money.

Terrible smell from the bathroom, the window in my room led to the backyard where the air conditioners of the neighboring building were working very loudly all night, old bed and furniture. Breakfast included only bread, butter and jam. The price is really low but it’s not the best experience. The best solution would be to spend 15-20 euros more but get a different feeling

View wasn’t great but other rooms facing street would have had better outlook. Buzz of other businesses air con was a little noisy .. it we did have window open all night.

Location was right in centre of old Funchal close to buses shops & cafes. Breakfast consisted of 2 really fresh bread rolls, butter, jam, orange juice & coffee.

Didn’t like smell in the room, it smelted like cow there. Hotel is old, but maybe it’s good for people who wants to live in cheap place. I wouldn’t come back again. It feels like this place has heavy energetic

Breakfast was the same every morning and no vegetables whatsoever, it would have been boring if I had stayed more nights.

The location was perfect for the price. I just used the room for sleeping and that was great.

The location was fantastic, easy to find and right in the middle of the city with lots of things nearby. Overall the facilities were clean, my room was clean and a good size. Staff were helpful and friendly and helped me sort out some booking confusion.

I knew where I was staying, the reasonable price I was paying, but what I couldn't understand was that there were cockroaches in the kitchen, with some laughter included from one of the workers because they run faster than her, when a client warned her of the presence of one.

Location is very central and convinient. Breakfast was adequate, without great luxuries.

I might be wrong, but it seems the elevator only works until 9 pm.. So late in the evening I had to use a stairway

This pension is in a perfect location, next to the Cathedral, a little bit old, but it is clean and some rooms have wonderful views! Some furniture is also a little bit old but just lovely.. Good value*
