the loud music from the club across the street! until 4am-5am so loud, people screaming, Dj loud ! can't sleep! lighting ads from the same club. during day and night light (blue/red/white) like we were in club. the curtains needs to cover 100% of the window in order to get some sleep. the hotel needs to take care of this...

Our stay at Pestana CR7 was simply unforgettable! The location is perfect – right by the marina and just a short walk from the heart of Funchal. The vibe of the hotel is energetic and modern, with lots of little details that reflect Cristiano Ronaldo’s spirit of excellence. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. On our last night, we were surprised with a special treat and a heartfelt note that made our departure even more meaningful. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a sporty yet elegant design. The breakfast was delicious and varied, and the pool area offered a fantastic place to relax after a day of exploring the island. Great location right near the Port - easy access to both the downtown area as well as the Cruise terminal. Nice size room and bathroom. Good wifi. Excellent breakfast and appreciated the welcome beverage. I would definitely use again.

I found it a bit dark especially on the corridors The kettle plug socket on our room was off the wall I found it dangerous to use and the ledge paint of the bathroom window was off

Location and rooftop area, but most importantly the staff were all excellent, very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. Checking in at 1am was no problem and when couldn’t make breakfast they provided packed lunch.

Breakfast was okeish, with same things every single day. Seaview room might be a bit tricky - in our case 2 days out of 7 there was a huge ship parked just in front of hotel (see photo), so we could see people on their balconies (zero privacy and zero sea view). On top of that the engines were running the whole night, and it was too loud to sleep with open balcony (was a problem for me, since I hate AC). When the ships were located on a further side of the port it was absolutely ok and not disturbing. Sauna was only operating with a prior reservation (would be nice to be able to use it spontaneously, and late which was not possible).

Nice location - walking distance to the old town of Funchal, 20 mins from the airport. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Often there was a sewer smell in the room. There was no hairdryer in the room. Had to ask for an iron and even though I asked at a desk in person,I had to go back to room to call and ask for it (I guess that they have such procedure). We had half board, but money wise better choose option with breakfast only or even without since the breakfast has quite a small choice. And the dinner - even soft drinks are not included. The options are very limited (mainly Pizza, burgers) and the price paid for half board is not of the value. Mattress was quite hard but I guess this one is a personal preference. We did not use the pool, but when walking around, it was visible from every corner so if you prefer a bit of privacy when wearing a bikini, this probably is something to consider

The location is perfect in terms of getting to main attractions in Funchal, also as a pick up point for excursions. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Every friday and saturday night, from 24:00 untill 2:00 in the night, free disco !!!! You can dance and enjoy a techno music from the Night Club, in front of the Hotel building!!!! Amazing!!! And you pay nothing for this. !!!!

Breakfast (presentation and variety), tastelessly fried eggs or scrambled. Although bf was included we just went once and preferred to eat outside. Not enough light in the room, everything is on low watts energy saving, you hardly see anything in the room, only bathroom has proper lighting. Hard matrasses. Room decoration in depressive mouse grey, the corridor also no lights only floor indicators, gave a feeling from being in a prison. Outside appearance is very ugly and wasted, color is gone and you hardly found the entrance. Almost no noise isolation from the windows, makes it impossible to sleep before 2 AM, because of the ground floor restaurants with outdoor seating. And of course, much noise from the incoming and exiting cruise boats that needs to use their horns at 6AM. It was truly a bad choice and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel other for being close to Funchals attractions. Staff was friendly and helpful though.
