Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.

Pristine property, well equiped and in a lovely location. The resident frogs are quite vocal during the night. You may or may not enjoy this. I found it very lovely.

Beds were very hard plus though having the frogs to eat the mosquitoes, they are so loud all night you can’t sleep

At night the bedrooms were a little dark as there isn't any celling lights.
The villa was better than what we expected, and we had a great view of the garden/pond area.

The only downside is that the private pools aren't heated; however, this is only a problem in the colder months as it's extremely refreshing in the hotter months. The upside is that they have an indoor heated pool, which is right next to the bar (always a bonus), so you can still enjoy a pool holiday at any time of the year
It's all the comforts of a home from home with the added benefit of having your own private pool and access to resort facilities (bar, restaurant, gym, spa, etc). The food is delicious and the cocktails are extremely moreish. The staff are always eager to help and happy to chat. This is our 3rd time staying here as a family of 4 in the villas, and we love it every time we stay. The villa is lavish and is cleaned daily. There is a local restaurant (Luisa's) which we can't recommend enough and a shop for any food/toiletry items you need. The town is a 4 minute taxi drive away and is approximately 3 euros. We love it here and will continue to come back.

Stayed here now at least five times at different times of the year. Apartment has upstairs and downstairs. Unbelievably clean and tidy with a balcony overlooking the gardens. All mod cons inside including coffee maker dishwasher and TV in both bedroom and lounge.

The location can feel somewhat remote, especially without a rental car. While the house was very nice, it could benefit from additional lighting inside, as it felt quite dark in the evenings. The kitchen utensils were also somewhat limited, which could be improved for a more convenient stay. Lastly, it would be great to have the option for dinner service, as the lunch service ends quite early at 5:30 PM
The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, showing true professionalism. Breakfast was excellent, offering a delightful mix of Continental options and traditional Portuguese pastries. We only used the indoor swimming pool, which was fantastic, but the gym, sauna, jacuzzi, and Turkish bath were also very enjoyable

I thought the indoor pool area was a little small but this is very minor when I way it up.
The resort was as advertised. There were a small number of minor issues but what impressed me the most was how the wonderful staff dealt with them. Highly recommended

We loved everything.
