The hotel has a great location. You get extra towels for the beach and 4/5 bottles of water every day. The room is cleaned every day by a very friendly lady. If any problems arise, the staff will fix them right away 😊 Great food in the restaurant as well. I will definitely come back!

The first day we got room 304, the room smells of sewage. It’s known by the staff that it stinks. Since the hotel was fully booked we stayed there 1 night, the staff was helpful and let us change rooms the next day. Other rooms don’t seem to have the same problem.

Great location, walking distance to Kata beach. In front of the Kata walking street. Lots of restaurants and streetfood nearby.

It is accessed in the back of a restaurant, which works as a reception. One of the rooms had a very bad smell in the bathroom

The only down side if I had to pick something was the stairs to third floor but like I said not really an issue

The location of this property is great as short walk to Koran and kata beaches as well as been very close to bars restaurants and the walking street. The room was very spacious with adequate AC and water pressure for the shower was good. The cleaner did a great job every day also giving fresh towels and bottles of water in fridge.

Bathroom needs to be updated/refurbished. It was functional but let the room down overall. No elevator could be an issue for some people.

I like sliding door as hotel room door, but needs security treatment so people can't see inside room. Otherwise closing curtains will have no windows. Very noisy AF location is on main street. No elevators, all stairs.

big hotel room. Very comfortable bed. They provided bottled water everyday day in your fridge. Bathroom big with shower/toilet combo. Also small balcony with drying rack +. Tea kettle. TV with local channels. Large closet with lots of hangers. Shared veranda with tables. Great restaurant downstairs.

not the fault of the hotel, but there is construction adjacent to the hotel. It was not an issue for me because I was not at my room much during the day. But people should be aware

Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable and clean room, good restaurant downstairs. the location was great, less than 10 minutes walk to the beach, 1 minute to the night market, lots of options and services around the hotel, it's in the center of the action.

The shower smells

The location is perfect a walk away from the 2 famous Kata and Karon beaches, Surrounded by Shops and restaurants. The cleaning lady is an angel 🙏

We came back one day to a note on our door asking us to go and speak to them about paying. Not sure why as the same lady said she wouldn’t be there the following day, but she was there when we checked out the following day - avoidable stress!

We enjoyed our stay here. It was conveniently located a short walk from the beach and shops. Comfortable bed and cold fridge for drinks.

The cleaner. Knocking on the door mid afternoon wanting to clean and almost ushering us out on checkout day , two hours before check out. Very dark room.

It was really noisy at night with loud motorcycles and those little taxis playing extra loud music until 3 am. The bathroom had a bad smell.

They sit in a really convenient place to go anywhere. They thoughtfully serve the towel and cushion for beach. A useful balcony for drying equipment.

Street noise could be a problem and bathroom had a slight odor (drain).

The staff were great. There was a nearby fire on the power pole that knocked out our electricity. The staff proactively worked to move us to a temporary hotel up the street for the night. The hotel is very close to a street market where there is cheap and tasty food.

Due to the location directly on a busy street, there is loud music and traffic noise that you will have throughout the day and into the night. It would be nice to offer guests the option to include breakfast when booking since the restaurant is located just below the hotel.

The staff at this property are wonderful, especially the manager who works in the Sugar and Spice Restaurant downstairs. She was very helpful in finding us an alternative hotel to stay at for one night of our stay when an electrical fire down the street caused the whole block to lose power for 24 hours. The hotel itself is dated, but it's hard to complain when the price of this hotel is competitive and the location is right on the main Kata street. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. The bathroom has a wet shower, though we would recommend that the property provide squeegees for the guests to use to help the floor dry quicker. There is a wonderful local food market just across the street from the property. There are also several restaurants, convenience stores, and shops all within walking distance. The beach takes about 10 mins to walk to if you decide to not rent a scooter. The Wi-Fi speeds were decent enough to stream videos.

The washrooms definitely need some upgrading. The drainage in the shower isn’t the greatest and the water would build up making the whole floor in the bathroom wet. The thing that probably bothered us the most was the smell walking up into our room in the stairway. It is a very strong unpleasant smell. We would not be able to sit out on the little balcony in front because of it. It was so strong I dreaded going to and from our room. There was also a sewer type smell from our washroom at times.

The staff at sugar and spice are exceptional, they were always so friendly and helpful. Someone always spoke to us when we were going to and from our room. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the room was very clean. The location is amazing!! Right next to the kata night market and 7 minutes walk to Kata Beach. We also liked how they provided a beach bag, towels, and beach rug to use at the near by beach.
