The wait time for boats and rides to the village wasn’t the best. Waited anywhere from 5-20 minutes. The sheets did smell a little musty.

The restaurants are very poor and the food is far away from how it should taste at a 5* hotel. The breakfast is very poor especially if you are not an asian.

The location in the jungle was exceptional, the pools are big and the views are amazing, especially during the sunset.

We would've loved to have a nice dinner or lunch at one of their restaurants, but they are a bit overly expensive. I dont get why i need to pay European prices for "European food", like a pasta... i mean this is local ingredients. Even the local thai food at the restaurant is expensive...

Its perfect for a quiet and relaxed holiday. Beautiful beach and great facilities. The rooms and pools are fantastic. The breakfast is even better!

The service in the restaurant was awful. Very hit and miss, staff not interested in helping you or even taking your money. The Thai restaurant however was amazing.

The private location, peaceful and picturesque. Lovely relaxing time to end our hectic time in Thailand.

I got food posined either from the hotel restourant or from the water bootles inside the room.. Other than that its the best that you can get with this price, specialy if you wanna relax with loved ones

I didn’t like the noise of the insects in the island, it’s very high, and it’s continuous non stop all over the day and night only stops for a few minutes - the customer service is not a 5 stars hotel standard - the island is big and needs more staff the accommodate the high season (i was there in April 2025). The breakfast buffet is very normal and not recommended - i recommend to order a la carte. Dinner buffet is a bit better but i found small lizard on the wall next to the salad bar.

I have booked a private pool villa it was very spacious and comfortable, the bathtub inside the room is big and i liked how the room is smart.

The hotel offer golf buggy rides to and from your room to the main hotel area but they take so long to arrive that it is quicker to walk 😅

Excellent staff, fantastic swim up pool rooms (by the big pool, not the tiny one!), really lovely swimming pools, good beach, beautiful grounds, nice range of activities, superb restaurants and food!!

Staff are very young and not as attentive as other places we have stayed. But still very friendly and helpful when asked. Hotel is stunning, beach not as perfect as we expected and much better beaches in the Phuket area but the hotel is out of this world. Would definitely return. Hotel restaurant food was outstanding.

The bed was not clean when we first arrived. There is no cold water during the day, around noon to afternoon. This is because the water tank for each building is stored right under the roof so during the day the heat builds in the cold water tank

Super friendly staff, very good mango sticky rice. There are lots of options for food. There are a lot of fun activities to do during your stay. The bartenders mix decent drinks.

You can hear ur unit next door Food was expensive (I know ur on an island), but the food wasn't the best quality and small serves. Pizza was the best $25 aud for pepperoni. Go straight into the village, food is great and a lot cheaper and beautiful on the beach for dinner. No were to put ur luggage and small amount of handing space. No where to hang towels only out on the balcony.

Loved the island vibe. Pools were great but best of all the stunning area where u saw sunrise 🌅 Excellent buggy service as soon as u rang for a ride to anywhere it was at ur door within the min. Staff were all friendly, couldn't do enough for you. Breakfast buffet was great lots to choose from.

Didn’t get the room I paid for. No shop . Everything has to be bought through bar or restaurant. Very expensive for Thailand. Captive audience. No wardrobe. Not a single drawer. Couldn’t unpack suitcase. Ferry crossing organising an absolute shambles . Also dangerously overcrowded boat.

The natural forest setting was fabulous but could be run so much better. Tried not to be negative as the setting was so beautiful. Loved the natural beach

The prices of the drinks are in my opinion too high. 160 bath for a small beer. Because of limited options to buy anywhere else, it felt a bit fishy. Bikes were also a bit expensive to rent.

A really nice place ... So peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed so much. It's a big resort but all felt relaxed and it was certainly not overcrowded. Great and big smart TV so we could watch Netflix. Always added value. A direct access to the pool was also a big plus. I don't think we would have liked the place so much without the direct pool access. Food and evening atmosphere were really good.

The check in process is extremely slow and chaotic. The luggage took a long time to get to our room (ca 1.5 - 2 hours) so I would suggest having a separate hand luggage with swimming costumes and other essentials for the whole family so you wouldn't lose several hours while waiting. There were not enough buggies/staff for the guests so I would suggest walking not calling for the buggy because of the waiting times. The main pool is extremely crowded (which was not a problem for us as we had a pool access villa on the other side of premises).

We loved our one bedroom pool access villa - the room with a climbing wall for kids :) We also stayed there in 2022 and will definitely return because of this specific room type :) It is absolutely perfect when travelling with kids!

There was so much to do at Island Escape. Plenty of places for food and drinks, spa and gym and a full roster of daily activities. Alongside being able to just lie on the beach or by the pool. The room was lovely, very comfortable and well equipped. Lovely bed and great shower. More information needed to be given about the transportation modes for getting off the island, as we got some confused information at times, so it took some figuring out. Overall however, we had a wonderful stay! We did not opt for the All Inclusive, as it would not have been worth it unless you were having 3 big meals and were ordering cocktails for the day. But you can opt in and out of it on a daily basis which would be very suitable for some. Upon arrival our bed was made up with a Honeymoon Congratulations, and on my Mum's birthday (as my parents joined us for the stay) her room was made up with lovely Birthday Wishes, both were lovely touches!

The property was set in a beautiful location and is very high end. Some areas looked ever so slightly tired but really that’s is me just picking faults. Simply would I go back yes would I recommend it highly, yes.

VERY disappointed at lack of vegetarian food choices for dinner and buffet meals n main restaurant area. Twice When asked for tofu dish on different menu there was no tofu available. Staff made no attempt to offer an alternative and unaccommodating. For this reason I would NOT book here again. Also drinks overpriced. On departure we had been told we would have a complimentary speedboat transfer however 9am was too early! We ensured we booked long boat & taxi in plenty time the day before with reception. Assured all done. We were left standing for 40 minutes at the pier and no boat appeared! Stressed trying to get to the airport in time for our flight and a frustrating finish to our stay unfortunately.

Lovely resort, good sized rooms with lots of choice. Pools were fun. Great to have different pools and slides for children. Clean. Great schedule for activities and beautiful yoga shala. The Staff at the activity centre and the spa were fantastic. Breakfast was great with lots of choice of fresh and cooked foods.

The staff are smiley and welcoming, however, in the restaurant they are understaffed and therefore you have to wait a long time for service, we found the service get progressively worse as our stay went on. The price of the food and drink is very high also, to make it worth it you have to choose an all inclusive package. The main pool but the beach also turned an off green and dark brown at one stage which wasn’t aesthetically pleasing.

Very nice location and hotel. All inclusive is a must when staying here. The food in the restaurants is great. Breakfast has a good selection also. Beautiful setting with many pools to choose from. A really lovely stay, definitely recommend for an all inclusive stay.
