Nothing, really nothing.

The hotel was really beautiful, very clean and the staff were super friendly and very helpful. Especially View and her team, we even got an unexpected upgrade, which was so nice. This hotel is a real 5 star hotel, the cleaning staff is very friendly and does a Wonderfull job, same for the staff at the restaurant, Bar, Gym, and the most beautiful swimming pool. We booked for 4 nights, but decided later to prolong our stay with another extra 4 nights. The hotel is situated at the more quiet side of Chiang Mai, which was very welcome, and right at the river, which gives you a beautiful view while having Breakfast outside. We used first a taxi, tuktuk, uber to end with a rental motorcycle. It just takes 4 to 5 min to be in the busy old city. Just perfect location. We would definitely go back!

Use of plastic could be improved and more obvious signs of recycling, especially with towels and bed linen. Location worked for us, but the road into town was not a nice walk, sadly.

After two nights else where, we were back for festivities. We were impressed on our initial visit and happy with the rooms, which are generous. On our return we were upgraded to a Suite - Heaven! Again we ate well, enjoyed good service, the spa.....

That said, I wonder if it's really worth all that money. I mean, the rooms are nice, super comfy beds, some Western TV channels, super posh bathrooms - sure. But at the end of the day, you wind up paying quite a lot of money. You try to check out and realise that you accidentally used the Evian water to pour in the kettle to make some tea in the morning: 150 baht, just for a little bottle of water.

The center piece of the RatiLanna Riverside Resort is their lovely pool. It's a good size, and you can move around it to follow the sun. There is a swim-up bar and they use the nice Beefeater Gin for G&Ts. So drinks are good, and the food most definitely is. This place really feels like a luxurious resort, nice and calm by the lazy brown Ping river.

Amazing experience! I came back for the second time and planning to come back again. the most quiet and relaxing place in the city, you will feel like you are far away from everything, but it's a few minutes from everywhere interesting. Amazing food, the nicest service, the spa is beyond word. quality and beautiful. the room is large and so comfortable. you will never want to leave. Special mention for the extra effort they made to offer me many vegan and wonderful options.

The only thing that I didn't like was the fact that we had to leave

The tranquility of the whole lot, the beautiful view from the pool side bar across the River was stunning and it was all just a short taxi/tuk tuk away from the night markets and the old town. So glad I booked this place and will definitely book again but for a longer time, the staff were so friendly but that is just Thailand

The a/c is from the 19th Century, with a hard-wired controller; It was either freezing or too warm. Price is definitely too high for the overall quality of the accommodation!

Two things: Restaurant pricey and somethings like Greek salad, poor choice and very pricey (not me ordering it I might add😉). I think reducing carbon footprint hasn’t hit the hotel at all. Simple changes like, large permanent toiletries which are refilled, not small plastic bottles; onus upon not washing bed sheets and towels more frequently than 3 nights…. The frog system, pointless, my husband, and big kids wouldn’t think to put a frog on the bed to signify don’t change sheets?!

It was all we wanted.

The food was great and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Our daughter had hurt her ankle and they even sourced her a wheelchair to makeour life easier without us even asking. The roomswere comfy and so quiet and night and the pool area was beautiful.

Wonderful staff. Outstanding gift shop. Clean property inside and outside. Beautiful landscaping. The outside dining area is beautiful. Swim up bar and Infinity pool area was amazing. The staff are all VERY helpful and friendly. Large variety of food available for the breakfast buffet. We had dinner in the outdoor restaurant each night and the menu has a good variety of food to choose from.
