Beach was fantastic, calm and beautiful. Food was excellent and staff was VERY kind and helpfull. Main bulding was unusual and some kind of magical, even mysterious. But all in a good way! Never stayed at hotel like that.

The airport transportation is not included which is not normal for the overall Koh Chang hotels at that price range because most of the hotels offers this for free. Plus we booked the very overprice transfer and they dropped us at the airport 4 hours before which is a very bad organization.

The location is great, the hotel is self is a bit isolated and peaceful.

The strong smell of sewage from our building, we did complain but were only given a 10% discount off our food bill. Also the hotel booked us a taxi to travel less than minutes to our next hotel which cost 250 which we thought was very expensive.

Stunning hotel in a quiet location. The staff were all so friendly and polite. Food was fabulous, we had the buffet for Christmas Eve and it was amazing, the only thing I didn’t like was the wastage and I hope the hotel give the left over food to staff. Breakfast was great and the views were amazing.

Sewage smell near reception. Resort restaurant was quite expensive. We had a huge cockroach in our room one night. But these were just small things and overall we loved our stay.

Beautiful pool view room. Two main swimming pools to choose from, one of which (the one by the breakfast restaurant) was always nice and quiet. Complimentary shuttle to the main road a few times each day. Nice beach with a few other restaurants to choose from within a short walk. Great massages in the spa.

Nothing - it's perfect!

The staff are super friendly and all stop in their tracks to say hello to you, they are very attentive. The pool area is lovely and clean, it's a huge pool with lots of room to swim around and enjoy the sunshine - lots of dinners - spaced out. The rooms are very spacious with everything in them that you need, cleaned as often as you like. The breakfast and view for this is spectacular, loads of choice and it's all warm - we loved the fresh egg options. The grounds are very well kept. We utilised the Saturday night BBQ & seafood buffet, (750 baht + tax per person) and it was so nice, lots of options and great entertainment! There is a shuttle that runs to and from the main highsreet a few times a day, outside this you can message the hotel and they will come and pick you up for 100baht. I liked the WhatsApp service, they replied quickly and it was helpful Thank you for a great stay.

We complained about a couple of things, noise and some jungle-like conditions in our room, everything was corrected to our liking :). My biggest complaint is I had to leave the hotel in the end.

It's an awe aspiring construction that catches eye and leaves an impression of being in something grand. Entering your hotel room you'll notice many wooden aestheticaly pleasing touches, and the smell of lemongrass oil is transcendent. Breathtaking view of the jungle over the river you'll have to experience for yourself. Staff attitude is the one of a 5-star hotel, they really tried to accomodate us the best they could, with a generous smile and minimum intrusiveness. The manager quickly adressed our complaint, the spa receptionist was really lovely and helpful with great english, there was a member of staff at breakfast who remembered my coffee preferences, which one I like and when, massage therapists did a great job. Another strong highlight was definitely the breakfast. It's served overlooking an impressive olympic pool, in a gorgeous spacious area full of wooden carvings, tastefully filled out with traditional live music, and featuring an impressive choice of fresh, well-heated delicious food. Every morning they were rotating new thai dishes, they have like a chinese soup station where you can order a wonton soup or a ramen to your liking, steamed siu-mai and bao-buns filled with pork or custard, tasty fresh fruit, they kept putting different fruit in the pancakes so we had pineapple and blueberry pancakes as well, and last but not least - coffee was out of this world. As big coffee drinkers we were more than satisfied. I find myself wanting to write more about the stuff that impressed me, I guess that's a good sign. However, I leave it to you to alllow yourself to be surprised by the many details suited for the guests luxury experience. We loved Santhiya and we'd recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing luxury stay. Santhiya, only change for the better and keep the high standards you set 👌🏻👌🏻.

The western-style pop music during dinner at the beach restaurant was just average, with vocals pretty much off-key — but the Thai dancers were truly delightful. I would have loved to hear more traditional Thai music instead. The pool water in the room was a little on the cool side — a touch warmer would have been perfect.

The atmosphere of the hotel is truly unique — a temple-like, cozy, meditative oasis filled with distinctive details. The interior is beautifully decorated with hand-carved wood and natural materials. Every wall, pillar, and ceiling panel seems to tell its own story — with elephant and botanical carvings, intricate mirrors, patterns, furniture etc. The view from the breakfast table is an experience in itself — mountains and a river, with birds gliding overhead. The food is fresh and varied, offering both Asian and Western choices. Breakfast was accompanied by live, authentic instrumental Thai music. Coffee is prepared to your preference. The private plunge pool in the room was a little cool, but the stunning panorama more than made up for it, especially bathed in the magic of morning sunlight. The walk down to the beach inside the complex is lush and green, and in the evenings the pathways and trees are beautifully lit. The staff is attentive and always smiling. The couples massage with our chosen oils, along with the rituals before and after, was a perfect wellbeing experience. In summary — an exceptionally beautiful, nature-immersed place to stay with exquisite handcrafted interiors. Excellent breakfast, special atmosphere, postcard-worthy views straight from the room.This place truly honours the name Santhiya — serene, soulful and filled with quiet beauty. It was sometimes difficult to get beach towels.

We had a truly wonderful stay. The staff were exceptionally kind, attentive, and always available for anything we needed. Being able to communicate with them easily via whatsapp was a real plus and made everything smooth and convenient. The breakfast was rich, varied, and absolutely delicious. The pools are stunning, the sunsets are breathtaking, and the beach is beautiful and very pleasant to swim in. Although we visited offseason and some renovations were being made in preparation for the upcoming season, it did not disturb our stay at all. In fact, it was nice to see how well they maintain the property. Additional highlights worth mentioning: The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, perfect for families as well as couples. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. We would happily come back again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!
