Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesShower pressure, keeping mosquitos at bay, having a microwave, and the quality of the "Western Side" of Breakfast (the Thai Side was really good). They could also stand to put a small table in the room (the room is big enough). The carpets in the room need to be removed and replaced.
Staff was incredible and answered every request with effort and concern.

DenmarkIt's sad to see the difference from the pictures to real life. They were taken a while ago. When we drove down the street and saw the hotel we both got a bit disheartened. The lack of maintenance goes all the way through the hotel, broken toilet seats, shutters with missing hinges, shower fixtures, etc. There seems to be some hoarder mentality going on here as well. Don't use the stairs to get to your room, the 2nd floor looks like a building site. There is a empty fridge in the outside seating area, for no reason an old scooter and loads of old plant pots and a garden hose for you to admire while having morning coffee. The elevator worried me a bit, the doors seem to open and close with some delay and the operation panel is loose. Its ashame as a lot of the things that make the bad impression of the hotel is something that could be rectified easily and if done I would rate it much higher. It has so much potential this hotel. Maybe I'm being to hard here, but I work in the service industry and it's just looks like they need a fresh pair of eyes and a kick in the butt to get this in order. When we arrived one of the tables out front had a used smoothie cup on it, it was there for two days.
When walking into the hotel it looks amazing with the art work, details, decorations and fresh flowers. The room is huge and the bed was setup nicely. The breakfast is okay and you can snack all day. The person dealing with the messages on bookings is very responsive and helped us at immigration with the paperwork. We had a big wrap around balcony, but no where to sit on it. The bathroom was so big, apart from the toilet, sink area and shower, it had ample room for a 4 person jacuzzi.

United KingdomThe property was not well kept, the facilities were poor and the hot tub in our hot tub room was not useable as it did not have a feature to stay warm. The room cleanliness was also not great. Additionally, the security was questionable as our windows in our room did not close fully nor lock.
The staff were very polite and welcoming and this was the best part of the stay.

FranceThe shower needs a bit of renovation. But overall was OK.
The staff, especially the lady at the reception, who I believe is the manager, she was always here to help. Very good value for money. The room was huge. ..we stayed there for 6 nights in the family room where we were very comfortable with an extra bed in the living room. We used the jacuzzi for one night, it was fun.

ThailandFor the Jacuzzi tub outside, you will need to wash it off before using it. Since it's exposed to the elements that's expected, you will need to run those jets to purge everything before adding the soap provided by the hotel.
I enjoyed the view from a corner room. The Jacuzzi tub that was outside was a nice touch with a big shower adjacent to it. The place offers different packages to make your night enjoyable.

OmanThe positive sides create negatives: the hotel is very cozy, small and quite. The opposite side of this is that the breakfast options are somewhat poor, almost inexistent gym facilities. The balcony could have a couple of chairs.
I had an excellent stay. The bathtub was great, traditionally-designed small hotel, very quite, welcoming and friendly staff, the room was just as expected.

SpainOffered no room service, and it wasn’t even possible to buy a couple of drinks from downstairs to take upstairs for the evening. The Jacuzzi ran out of hot water filling it, it went through the motions of a jacuzzi well but… it didn’t get any warmer, the display didn’t work correctly and it self drained very quickly ( had a leak) and was empty by the morning.
The bed was comfy, shower room good, breakfast good.
