Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesFirst room had a leak in the bathroom and tv was disconnected. They kindly upgraded us to a suite but my kiddo had to then sleep on a sofa bed. No sheets etc. Had to go find them.
Staff very helpful. Loved the museum.

United StatesI did not like the in room coffee maker. To complicated and also that there wasn't any coffee available in the lobby. Breakfast needs to be earlier at 7 not 8 especially since we didn't get coffee until them.
the breakfast was great and I liked the price. Location in hotel great

United StatesBed was ok, not luxurious by any means. Our view was of a brick wall and our windows were frosted so we could not look out to see the weather. The restaurant was too fancy for our taste. We couldn't find anything on the menu (dinner) that we were interested in. The hotel was clean and nice, but I prefer a more luxurious environment.
Very nice location. Close to many restaurants and tourist attractions. Staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed.

United StatesOur thermostat did not work in the bedroom of our suite. We did request someone come up and fix it and it was not fixed. The staff did supply us with a box fan which did make sleeping a lot more comfortable. We were in room 310. The morning of check out we had two different employees knock on the door at 10:00 am asking when we were leaving....checkout is 11:00. It left us with a bad last impression.
Great location. We felt safe however while we were there a car that was parked across the street from the hotel had their windows smashed in and their belongings were stolen.

United StatesThere were hairs in the bathroom, stains on the carpet and a really annoying thumping sound coming from the furnace area the entire day and night.

United StatesRoom was a little dusty. And our water faucet was making an awful whistling noise. The pipes were super noisy. I know it's an old building but the faucet was newer and it was not working right.
Staff was super friendly

United KingdomOur room wasn't ready at 4pm when we came to check in. We waited for 10-15 minutes and then were given a suite and one free drink (although there were 2 of us). The suite was a nice gesture, but I was traveling with my son so he slept on the couch in the front room, which meant that we really didn't take advantage of the extra space. Our room was not cleaned at all during our 2 night stay. Also, there was some confusion about the billing, even though I went to the front desk to check out. I still have a large pre-authorisation well above what I owed taken off my credit card a week after my stay.
The breakfast was good value for money. We were upgraded (but only because our room wasn't ready).

United StatesDark room. No view. Bathroom needs towel bars and a safety grab bar for the bathtub. One recommendation for a very poor Mexican restaurant nearby.

United StatesWe booked a 2 queen room which wasn't available so we were moved to a corner suite and we received one night free. We appreciated the accomodations made but would have preferred the room type we originally booked.
Hotel and location were great. Parking lot by hotel could use some security.
