There was only 1 out of 3 hot tubs open and it was the oldest one on the property we know as we’ve been there several times. There was only 1 out of 2 fire pits going. Considering that it was Mass and Maine school vacation week and there was not a single open parking spot I would think they could afford and should have provided access to those amenities. We did go a weekend earlier than we typically would however it wouldn’t have made a difference if we did go a weekend later as apparently the other hot tubs (and out door pool which we didn’t care about) are now not opening till 5/9 per a staff member. Additionally for the 2 nights we were there the pool area was completely out of towels when the hot tub was still open for at least another hour. The first night there was a man at the desk who radioed someone who was supposed to bring some but it took quite a while. The second night there was no one manning the desk when my husband went to ask. He waited as long as he could but got irritated. Lastly, I’m not sure what happened to the bartender from last year but the 2 that we’re working Friday night were quite disorganized. The drink I ordered was made in the “wrong size glass” by a new bartender per the one with seniority and it was terrible. I did appreciate them substituting it at no charge.

The location is amazing. The room was very comfortable. I had indicated prior to arrival that we were staying for my husband’s birthday and our wedding anniversary and they left a card and a box of chocolates.

Room was comfortable, Location was walking distance from everything. It was a bit snowy that weekend so the view was interrupted but I'm sure it would be lovely.

No microwave Chairs in room were very low. Difficult to get out of Too many e-mails prior to going (14) and some during our stay. 1 would have sufficed

Time got away from us. We received three calls at 11:15 regarding checkout which was annoying. One of the rooms someone was sleeping. She heard pounding at the door. Went to the door and a member of management was yelling at her. We realize the checkout time but seriously fifteen minutes. I have never had that happen at any other hotel

The restaurant food was disappointing. Tatsed good, but very expensive and small portions. My fiancé ordered the scallop dinner which was $34 dollars and there was 4 very small scallops. I ordered the lobster mac, which was a generous portion hut it barely has any lobster. No bread or anything with meal. The server was wonderful at the restaurant and at the bar, nonissues there. The person at the front desk was very nice. However, we were never asked if it was a special occasion and it was my 50th birthday celebration.

It was very clean and very nicely taken of. The room was ocean front with a beautiful view. Overall it is a beautiful resort.

We had a family with a few young children above us and at midnight they were still outside screaming, playing ball and running around. I tried to press the “front desk” button on the phone but just got a busy signal. I had to go outside and shout 2 x to remind them people are trying to sleep. It was disappointing to not sleep until around 2 am. I did not expect that kind of guest unmonitored at this type of facility,

We had a beautiful sunny day for a picturesque walk all along the boardwalk to Perkins cove . The facility was clean, beautifully landscaped and the staff was very friendly. We loved the gas fireplace overlooking the ocean view ! We loved a hot breakfast in your restaurant before we left .

We’ve been coming to the Anchorage by the Sea for at least 30 years and each time we visit it more than exceeds our expectations (larger and more high end every stay.). We flew up from FL to enjoy the luxury, food and sights. Can’t wait to come back.
