We stayed there last year. Missed having the restaurant. The breakfast was delicious served in the lobby. Look forward to the remodel when completed. We also had dinner & it was delicious but look forward to more variety of items on the menu when work is completed. We have loved staying there. It is a charming hotel.

Coffee sucked both in the room and at breakfast. The rooms were too small. No real accommodation for dogs. If you are paying 75$ per pet, you are expecting to have dog friendly areas. They tell you to walk your dog across the street where the sign clearly says "no dogs". The hotel is located in the middle of the stone jungle. There is NOTHING around. Unless you are there for an event in the convention center, do not expect to any NM flavor.

The building has some history for sure. The beds were comfortable. It was nice to have robes. We had a view of the city. Breakfast was nice.

The lobby and I guess restaurant were under construction during our stay, so it's hard to say how it will end up, but their restorations seem too modern and not in keeping with the original charm of the old hotel. There was also a wedding party so valet parking and the small entrance foyer were awkward.

We love old hotels and this is a lovely one in many ways.

Recognizing the hotel is in remodel mode, there are still disappointments and negatives. The entryway seems very dim and dingy and the half finished feel of the dining area squelches any feel of an enjoyable, lively place. Before arriving, I had in mind something similar to La Fonda in Santa Fe, where we've stayed several times. La Fonda is old and needs sprucing up, too, but it has a lively feel that Anadaluz lacks now. We applaud the idea of bringing it back, but it has a long way to go. Paying attention to lighting would help a lot.

Both breakfast and dinner were great, both food and service. The ambiance suffered because the hotel feels it is in transition while being remodeled.

The elevator dings when it passes each floor. It is so loud from within the elevator. It hurt my ears.

The food, dinner and breakfast were amazing! The room was quiet. We never heard another guest from our room. Beds were very comfortable and everyrhing was clean. We loved the originality of the hotel and its very unique personality and style. We'll be back for another getaway!

The rooms are very small, which is to be expected with a historic hotel, but let this be your warning. They seem to host a lot of events (weddings, etc.) so things can be a little loud at times. Was not as quiet as we were hoping.

Beautiful property that’s well-decorated and preserved. The rooms were clean. Staff was extremely pleasant and accommodating. We were able to check-in early. You’re within walking distance to quite a bit.

I almost cancelled our reservation when we arrived Friday evening to find music so loud I could hardly hear reception staff even with the doors closed. What a disappointment! We enjoy dancing ourselves but this music was SO LOUD and it continued past the 8:30pm stop we’d been told would happen. Even in the fine restaurant (our waiter was wonderful) the music was heard too loudly. Truly disappointed. It spoiled our anticipated enjoyment of this historic hotel. And the elderly couple ahead of me in line at reception had to keep asking for instructions to be repeated because they couldn’t hear.

The people in the room next to me were smoking which set off the fire alarm and the announcement to evacuate at 4:30 am. The fire truck had to come. As I’m writing this I realize that it really was a positive because the evacuation was very fast and efficient and the reception staff was able to immediately inform us that it was a false alarm. I wasn’t able to go back to sleep, but this is no reflection on the hotel
