United StatesThe location of check in was almost 10 blocks away from the location of the hotel. They don't offer complimentary transportation knowing guest are arriving from out of town with luggage. The unit has a full kitchen which didn't have the basic items needed to cook. They had to take cookware from another unit for us to use. However, we ended up buying a knife & spatula set ourselves. They had roaches in the cabinets and even in the dresser. There were spiders and geckos in the unit as well. Although staff came to spray we still had to buy Zevo bug spray. We stayed for 7days and on the third day is when cleaning services start. So we had to go buy our own cleaning products and supplies to sweep and mop the floors daily in order to not have sand throughout the unit. The walls had dirt and actual footprints from the previous guest that we cleaned ourselves. I don't know if they're under new management or owners. Sadly after coming to Beach Side about 5 to 6 times in 10 yrs this is our last time staying there.
The location was very close to the beach. Literally one block away. The staff was very pleasant.

United StatesNo restaurants around. No hand towels. The staff on site were annoying on the check out day starting from 9 am knocking the door. They also didn’t speak English at all.
The location is good, not a beachfront but very close. Nice park near. During weekdays there are plenty of free parking around. Our room (605 studio) was very clean and equipped with everything we needed in kitchen, except, the fridge was small and no kettle. Excellent for the money we paid. The Collins express trolley bus stop is very close, which was very convenient. There should be a note in description that the site actually far from the office, like 10 blocks away to the north.

United States- The check in process: our party was 3 people, one of them a senior citizen (age 82). Days in advance, I contacted to inquiry about early check in to facilitate our transition from where we were traveling. I received no response. - I also inquired via email about having two beds and not 1 bed and 1 sofa. I never received any response. - During the day of check in, my partner went to the main office while I was returning our rental car at a different location. She was told that the 3 of us needed to be present physically to complete the check in. Absurd! When I came back from returning the car, the manager did not know about this "requirement" and informed us that one person would have been enough, and that one person could have brought the 3 id´s, or even bring the id´s of the other people later on. We "wasted" three hours while waiting for the check in time - I contacted earlier via email asking about having 3 chairs, one per person. In the end, the unit had 2 beds, and we were told that we could grab a patio chair if any was available. - We stayed 5 nights: we asked for toilet paper by the second day (we were offered 3 rolls more, for 3 people). We bought our own tp. The main office was walking distance from the unit where we were, but at times we would stop by and a sign "I will be back in 30 minutes" would be on display. We understand that it is Christmas time, New Year´s time.... but the cost of this stay is supposed to cover 1 chair for each person in the party, enough toilet paper to not "bother" you again with this at the main office, and better pre-arrival communication. - We received, like everybody else´s, a voucher for a drink at a Hotel for a New Year´s party. - People were nice. Pre-arrival contact is encouraged via the application Booking, but there is no follow up, and in-person service (check in and service such as toilet paper) needs improving. Room (cleaning) service was available every 3 days if...
Location was excellent: Walking distance to the beach, and to a business area with wonderful "Cafe Sazon", and other businesses for meals and drinks. Walking distance to a Publix (grocer), next to a bus/trolley stop. Just excellent! Our unit was very quiet, clean and in general good value for the site. Bathroom a bit small. Being December-January, a bit expensive for 5 nights.

CanadaI arrived at the hotel lobby at 1245am with my 5yr old son. For the first time in Miami Beach and the taxi that brought me waited 15mins before leaving me incase I needed assistance. While the man working In the lobby sat and conversated with another guest. He then told me to give him 100 usd deposit when booking.com said to pay at hotel $0 which I, paid with no hesitation he then told me that my hotel was 4blocks away and here is the address. I asked him politely you do not assit guest at this hour? He rudely responded with a loud NO WE DO NOT! I then said while you took to long my taxi left? He told me to go on Google maps or call an Uber after i paid 75 usd to the taxi. He rudly said I can walk you out to the corner and point you in the right direction it is now 130am [mind you they have a golf cart that they take from location to location for themselves, supplies and garbage] I told him this was very disappointing as I am being sent to walk up for blocks with my 5yr old and suitcases at this hour he then responded that I must shut up or he would call the police and kick me out. I have never experienced something like this in all my life and how could you go on to enjoy yourself after this?[when I asked him his name as no badge on him, tells me to speak to Blanca in the morning that she is the manager] I finally get my son and I to the room? And there is mold all over the washroom and windows. I go to the lobby in the morning again 4 blocks away to find Blanca who could care less about how her employee treated us and or that the room was full of mold and my son has asthma. Instead she showed me 3 worse rooms. Thank you Miami Beach for the good memories but we will not stay back here of we return. ( the pictures they sent of my room on booking.com looked nothing like the rooms I was shown) I should finish off with they do not clean the room the whole time your there, I had to ask for toilet paper and change of towels myself
I liked that it was close to the beach from any of there locations and the only staff that cared to assist a single mother were Kareda and Adrian thank you so much for caring. Adrian put our suitcases in his own vehicle to bring us to 8100 Harding Ave. Where they put me to stay with a child 4 blocks from the hotels main lobby location. Kareda cares more for the clients of the hotel than the own manager Blanca (sorry if I have spelt there names wrong.

United StatesFirst room we were in had black mold and cockroaches, and we had a stranger try getting in our window, so we had to switch rooms at 2am, finally got to sleep around 4am after a very thorough search for bugs, just to be woken up at like 7am to the housekeeping walking right in while we were sleeping.

I didn't like one thing with this establishment! They are a bait and switch property and booking dot come is part of the hustle! They show you one hotel a block from the beach with a pool, but actually send you to another hotel they manage 2 blocks away. Fellow citizens take note "DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE" Very unfriendly staff especially 20 something Cuban guy with a beard . Bad news at this place!

Tried calling the number listed and it goes unanswered. Called at least ten times. They simply apologized for not answering however I called it while standing at the desk and it doesn’t ring. The person at the desk then said that phone doesn’t work when I called him out on it.Again just apologized and went next. Will never stay here again!!
