Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Just a few suggestions. Air conditioner made a lot of noise (but worked well). The bath only had one towel and no towel rack or holder.
Perfect location - 2-3 min to restaurants in west OC & 5 min in to downtown OC . Front office assistant Kim( I believe) extremely friendly and nice. Updated rooms, size is fine.

My checkin day the front staff was not pleasant at all. You could tell she didn't want to be there. It also took forever as she was very slow and there was a long line with people waiting a decent amount of time. Being front desk you need a level of customer service. The gentleman that ended up jumping in and helping was very pleasant. Beds were uncomfortable. Unfortunately got no sleep the night we were there. Bed needs at least 1 more pillow as well. 3 pillows for 2 people was not enough.
The little breakfast offered was nice to grab and go. My checkout day the staff was incredibly pleasant. Love the fact there is a pool and hottub.

I was not happy. The room was extremely hot when we walked in. The air conditioning was not on. It should be on when guests arrive. I had my grandchildren with me and they were not able to access WiFi for their tablets and my daughter and my cell phones couldn’t access it either. The room had a musty smell to it. Also, when I arrived they asked for a credit card so they could hold $75 in case of damages, which I wasn’t told they were going to do. I will not be recommending this place.

There were so many ants in the room. Not sure where they came from. Also, I wish there was a small table or desk with a chair in our room. The 2 tv’s in the room took turns going out and didn’t work. The WiFi wasn’t great. And because it’s floors and not carpet, maybe leave a little broom and dust pan on the room?
I loved that there was a pool and jacuzzi, definitely a plus. I like that there was no carpeting. And only a 6 minute ride to the OC beach and boardwalk, not a bad location. The staff was friendly and very helpful

We couldn't get extra towels until you turn the dirty ones in.Its 2 in the room with one towel and one wash cloth.They don't have a microwave so I couldn't warm up my tea..The room is small...

The way to our room wasn’t the cleanest and the AC was extremely loud.
Pretty central property, right next to CVS and not far away from Ocean City. Even though it didn’t say anything about breakfast in the app, we got a basic breakfast. Not too fancy but enough.

The fridge had food in it from the previous guests. I would advise that the housekeepers clean the fridges out. Check microwaves too & around the beds. Found stuff around the beds. I pray they are changing the sheets. That would be unsanitary. I found lots of hair on my sheets.

The day we checked in we didn’t have power, had to use the bathroom and take showers using our phones, went and let the staff know it took them 24 hours to fix the issue. We stayed two nights so it wasn’t fair to have us with no power, they should’ve took something off for the inconvenience.

Rooms are extremely small. They could least put a mini fridge in the rooms that don’t come with a fridge or microwave. The outside night lights BLARE into the rooms even with the black out curtains it was so hard for my boyfriend and I to sleep with the lights coming in we had to take our beach towels and hotel towels and hang up them up around the windows just to block off the lights lol
Place was very clean, staff was super nice, pool and hot tub was nice
