We liked the roominess. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a little old and had a musty smell. Also, our toilet was not attached to the floor firmly. We love the shower! We also love the gardens!

Mostly, the area around the hotel is a nice area, but the hotel itself is on a large lot kind of off on its own. I’m not sure how safe the area would be late at night. Some parts of the hotel look like they are under renovation so it isn’t the prettiest place to stay.

The guy at the front desk was very helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. It was within walking distance to Long Beach State, which was why we were there. The inner courtyard is nice with the lawn and the pool and we had a balcony overlooking that we had a room at the back of the hotel so we didn’t have any road noise.

The price was great and it was just $19 uber ride from the carnival cruise port. Very clean and well maintained. The lovely pool was heated! It was a short walk to a Mexican restaurant (Enrique’s) and a breakfast place.

350ml bottle of water in room was NOT included in our stay and we were charged 5USD!! There was no note to suggest that it was not complimentary.

My room wasn’t clean, the balcony area on the side the railing was lose. The sheets was old and had stains. The tube had stains. I saw an old grape and candy around the bed.

I didn’t like the very thin walls; it was impossible to sleep all night because of the neighbors. Their conversations, laughter, and door slamming could be heard until 4 a.m.

I liked the spacious room, and I was pleasantly surprised by the Lather toiletries. I buy them myself, so it was a pleasure to use them at the hotel.

The Hotel is showing its age and is need of a rehab. Carpet is very tired and worn. Strangely, the bathroom in this suite was minuscule. Barely enough counter space for basic needs such as a toothbrush and razor. Depending on your room location the road noise can be quite annoying but you would sacrifice the view for a quiet spot. Strangely we had continuing problems with the room keys “deprogramming” every day.

The location is great. Close proximity to the beach and other attractions. Our corner king suite had a pleasing harbor view on one side and a view to the west on another side. We had electrical issues the first night and the staff was very cooperative to offer an alternative room until repairs were completed. We declined so as to keep the view. Repairs were made before the second night.

Older property, clean, but needed repairs. Handrails on stair way to second floor was loose in a few places. Ceiling in room had had a crack across the full ceiling, which was a little scary.

The room was a decent size, but felt a bit dark. The hotel seem to have been renovated recently, but there was evidence that some areas did not get a full attention to detail. I noticed paint cracking in the bathroom, and outdated fixtures throughout. The hotel room TV was very small. The bed was very hard, although very large.

The price considering the area was a good value. The staff was friendly. I liked that they were able to accommodate our late check-in. They seemed to have a lot of amenities available considering the price point of the hotel.

the Wi-Fi wasn't working most of the time. the room was not clean. the bathroom was dirty with hair and dirt. the beds had hair from previous guest. the remote for the tv didn't really work.

the room was cozy, we had the patio outside our back door. the location was pretty good.

The rooms we reserved were okay but not great. The facility looks and feels old with wear and tear obviously. One room had no soap. One room had no hot water in the sink and hot water for the shower came only after leaving shower running for 10-15 minutes. One room had dirty carpet and smelled like heavy deodorant to cover up unpleasant odor (possibly from pets). I stepped on broken glass (fortunately no injury). Parking is a nightmare. There was no elevator in the unit we booked—and this proved difficult for two handicapped persons in our party.

Location is great. Pool area is very nice.
