Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The worst aspect of this place is the limited space at breakfast - if you arrive from Europe and are jetlagged then it's easy to be the first downstars at 7am, but the longer you stay the longer you wait in line for a table:) But let's make it clear: we never waited longer than a couple of minutes. I would stay there again!
We loved the location (great for walking around Midtown and for subway lines 6 and E, which will quickly take you Downtown) and the space in the apartment. Yes, the hotel is a bit dated, but well-maintained. The breakfast is good for American standards: tasty coffee and a pretty wide choice. If only they would stop using all those single-use plastics..:(

They clean the room not every day but every two days. Thats not good enough. Also, it was quite pricy.
Its a good hotel and the client orientation was also good especially from the reception desk and the staff facilitating the breakfast. Destiny at the front desk was always helpful

Was difficult to control temperature in rooms

Our room was on the ground floor of the building, we did not know that the view from the window was of the wall, it would have been worth writing this in the description. I am quite a delicate sleeper so it was difficult for me to fall asleep without ear plugs due to the huge air conditioning extractor which was right next to our room.
Sensational location of the hotel. Very tasty breakfast. Great hotel staff, very helpful and friendly Rossa - thank you for your help with the hairdryer. Hotel very clean.

Only issue was that heating too hot at night and could not turn down.
Location was great. Staff very friendly. Breakfast convenient and good that we could take up to our apartment which was really very spacious for our family of 6.

We were 6 and only had 1 bathroom.
The staff was very friendly, we loved the location as it was walking distance to many sightseeing points and the breakfast was also great.

Nothing really, i guess if i had to pick something it would be that things could use a little TLC but nothing that would ruin my experience there.
Daily complimentary hot breakfast was great and Rosie the lady serving was lovely! If you couldn’t get a table she helped tray everything up so that you could take it to your room. Rooms are very spacious, beds are so comfy. I travelled with my husband and 2 young adult sons, we all had our own space, our family room was awesome.

Only one bathroom for 5 people, and not enough isolation on the windows so a bit noisy.
Excellent location, very close walking distance to Central Park and Rockefeller, very friendly and helpful staff. Very good breakfast.

Room windows and many blinds did not open, making room darker than we would like. Some items need repair- mirror, baseboard heater.
Breakfast was basic, but good. Liked being able to bring food up to our room. Room was larger than expected. Kitchen was large and useful.

Breakfast can be improved and was very crowded. Add more amenities such as a sundry area to purchase things like aspirin, etc.
Loved the spacious apartment style units with room to spread out. Location was good too.
