Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe awful night shift front desk. Then grimy e .
It seemed very familiar to Embasy Suites but run down and half the amenities of an Embassy Suites. The night shift front desk black woman was awful. Looked like she hated her job and it was obvious she did hate the job and the people staying there. What a contrast to woman earlier that worked hard to help the custumers.

United StatesGiven it's location near the capitol and at the intersection of multiple busy streets, getting in and out of the parking lot was a little tricky. This is a minor (very minor) comment.
This hotel is a little bit dated, but it was clean and comfortable. The room was also quiet, which was surprising given this an atrium style hotel where the rooms look in on an open atrium. There were multiple gatherings of people in the atrium during our stay and the noise, which was obvious when we opened the door, was not distracting when the door was closed. The breakfast was solid. Better than cheaper "motel" breakfasts, not as fancy as made-to-order kinds of breakfasts available at more expensive lodgings.

United StatesThe first room we were put in hadn't been cleaned, towels all over the floor, bed linens a mess and it smelled. The second room was clean but TV didn't work. Also the lady at the desk seemed completely unbothered by the state of the room she put us in, not so much as an apology. Same trash in hallway by the elevator from early evening until check out. Also no information given on amenities.

United Stateswhat breakfast? was told at checkin it was free buffet, with tips appreciated. Didn't mind paying, but that was not what I found. I was told it was because there weren't that many guests. It was not much. Had a fruit salad and it was pretty lacking.
The gentleman in charge was pleasant.

United StatesI have stayed at this property many times over the last 15 years, but it has been about four or five years since my most recent previous stay before November 2024. With that being said, myself and family were extremely disappointed with our recent stay. The room was in dire need of an update. The furniture was scuffed and worn, and the mattress was uncomfortable. Stains marred the chairs, and mattresses and the bathroom was cramped and outdated. The "hot" water was barely lukewarm at best. The elevator to the parking garage was out-of-order and more. The fron.t doors should be level for guests to enter, especially those who need assistance. While there is a ramp on the right of the front doors, a guest has to take it to the front desk area. It can be cumbersome and a tight squeeze when there is someone both entering and exiting the facility on the same ramp. The overall impression was that the hotel has seen better days and is overdue for a complete overhaul. This "was" a great gem of Jefferson City. It's disheartening to pay for a room that feels neglected and unclean--once a diamond that is now merely a Cubic Zirconia!
While the negatives heavily out-weight the positives, there are a few. First, the staff at the front desk were nice and helpful. I even talked to the one for a while, and we talked about her unique name. She was very informative and helpful about the hotel. The location is great and the views of the capital are good based on where your room is located. There was (and always when I have been there in the past) several functions in the banquet area. While these facilities are dated, the atrium combined with the various banquet and meeting rooms is nice. I saw several various events during my stay over two nights. Travel Tip: Definitely pay attention to the directions on your Google Maps, Waze etc. The entrance to the parking lot is not where you you think is (not a bad thing).

United StatesThe room was dated and nothing special at all. The bathroom ceiling above the shower had unslightly water damage. I requested extra pillows and blankets in the room and they weren't there. Not only that but there were no pillows or linens for the pull out sofa bed either. When I requested them from the front desk I was given two limp pillows, a flat sheet, a fitted sheet, and 2 pillow cases. No actual blanket so we had to pull one off the main bed for the person on the sofa sleeper. Our room faced the parking lot, it was noisy all night with loud cars coming and going which I thought was strange. The breakfast the next morning was not worth the price. It was buffet style consisting of water, coffee, or orange juice to drink. Pancakes, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, and hashbrown potatoes. There was milk but no fresh fruit, cereal, or oatmeal. Despite arriving about 15 minutes after breakfast began, the food was lukewarm at best. All of us were underwhelmed and realized we could have had a much better breakfast at a local diner or even McDonald's. Overall these hotel rooms really need an update and the accommodations could be better. Despite the location and price, I will pay more for a better hotel and will not stay here again.
The location and price were the main reason for staying here. The lobby area was nice. My son was excited to use the indoor pool. I was looking forward to the hot breakfast in the morning even though it was not complimentary.

United StatesBreakfast not included. No breakfast to even purchase the next day after our arrival. Came back to our room after cleaning services to find our door ajar, no cleaning staff anywhere around. It was as if they forgot to shut the door. Our bikes were just inside the door and could have gotten stolen along with other belongings. Staff gave us breakfast coupons for the remainder of our stay due to the open door... BUT the next day when we went for breakfast, there was no food on the buffet. There was plenty of hot syrup but no pancakes, bacon, 2 pieces of sausage and small amount of eggs all of which was cold, etc. Had to ask for pancakes. Heard the server say there was only 1 cook on staff that day, might not get what you request!. Couch was awful to sit on. Not comfortable at all. Vent covers in the room were full of dust. Room was dark. Waterfall feature in lobby needs cleaned. Elevators did not work correctly. Was sad to see this place in such disarray.
We were allowed to keep bikes in our room. Room was clean. Size of suite was good just dark and outdated.
