Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I have no negative comments. Everything was above and beyond expectations.
Exceptional service, location was perfect. Many options to dine both at the hotel and within a short walk. Loved that Trader Joe’s was within walking distance. Beautiful scenery and grounds to walk around. Room was spotless and comfortable.

Loved it all!
This was an ideal location to make our early flight time simple! Clean rooms and comfy beds too. Having a Starbucks inside the hotel was ideal, as was the free airport shuttle. These conveniences made the early travel hour feel far more civilized.

I loved how quickly the free shuttle came to get me upon arrival. Joe was a super friendly and wonderful driver. Michelle at the front desk was very welcoming upon arrival and set me up with my morning shuttle at 6am. The bar and restaurant were still open when I arrived at 815pm and I really appreciated being able to have a nice meal and drink before I headed up to my room.. The bar staff were also super friendly and helpful. My morning shuttle Driver Ferdinand was also very helpful and friendly. I loved how comfortable and quiet my room was as well ! And even thought I didn't jump in , the pool looked lovely ! This is a great hotel for a quick layover in San Diego for anyone flying in for a night or two in transit. Thank you for the great experience !

I so appreciated the warm welcome I received by the front desk when I arrived for my late night check-in. Hannah and her front desk partner (her name escapes me) couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming.

Paid a hefty amount for parking unfortunately there was no parking due to events on the property. So do they pay for parking while events are going on?

All lights were on separate switches. TV remote had buttons that didn't work.

Not great view and the paddle board had to be booked by a company that was not there.
You need to book the bike or paddle board in advance and the company is not available on site

Staff at check in wasn’t very helpful. Forgot to call me for check in. Was sat there watching others get their room.
Location was great! Room was noisy, thin walls, and windows don’t block out pool noise very well.

Everything was great, but still felt the room was a little pricey. Tourist tax isn't the hotel's control, so this issue may not even belong here.
The room was very nice, the beds very comfortable. The staff was amazing, very courteous. I asked for an extra blanket for my mother, it was at the door in minutes.

The only thing is that the fire pit should be turn off later at night around 12

When I check in the desk lady charge me $250 And when I ask why she told me that was her mistake but now I have to deal with my bank to get that money back

The staff was so friendly and helpful. Front desk always greeted us with a smile and had the answer to all of our questions. Special shout out to our server, Lisa, who took excellent care of us for our one and only breakfast at the lounge restaurant. Pool & hot tub were great. Nice to have the heated pool. Rooms were clean and bed was super comfortable.

Staff is excellent. Breakfast is great. Love having a restaurant inside with a bar if you just want too relax when you arrive. Very close to the airport with great shuttle service. Love this place.

I was told that I would get 20 dollar voucher per guest but on arrival on got (1) per night. That was very disappointing and felt cheated when I paid for breakfast and it was supposedly included with my stay. Other than that it was top notch service and the stay was extremely satisfying.
