Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesI missed the additional cost of parking per night, prior to booking. The condition of the room was ok, but the overall hotel just seemed ran down. We were also not aware of having to request for new towels or a room tidy up at check in, this was not explained upon check in.
Parking was close, which was nice. The hotel was conveniently located to where we needed to go during our stay.

United States$25 dollar a night parking was not listed. No place for a guest to park. Ice/vending machines were not on our floor, but the signs were, so we walked around the entire floor before finding the empty room they used to be in. Went to call the front desk and the phone didn't work. Could have done as well at a Super Eight.
Standard hotel breakfast. Very little choice.

United StatesThis hotel has the potential to be so much better. It has incredible bones, but is so run down. The door at the front, the handicap door, does not work. The arcade in one of the dining rooms only has two operating machines. The rest either do not work at all, or take your money and don't work either. The bathrooms off the lobby have dripping, leaking toilets. The pool is great, but the smell of chlorine will take your breath away. The pool toilet is gross and never has toilet paper. Breakfast has improved since last year, but the lady making omelets and pancakes has a real attitude problem and is terribly inefficient. We waited 30 minutes for freaking pancakes. That griddle should be making pancakes non-stop, and omelets to order. Breakfast hours are 6-9. There will be no food at 8:30. The dining staff work their butts off and I sure appreciate them. The tvs....we need some technology upgrades here. We need to be able to cast on streaming from our phones. This is 2025 for Pete's sake. So, in conclusion...comfy beds, big rooms for families..but so run down and poorly managed. But dang it, the kids love it so I suck it up and return time after time.
Embassy Suites is an iconic hotel, unlike any other in the KC metro area. All rooms are suites. The lobby is cool, the pool area is cool. Kids LOVE it because it is so unique. I've stayed everywhere, and I find their beds, their linens, and pillows the most comfortable. Their cleaning staff do a great job of keeping the laundry clean and fresh.

United StatesNo hot water for shower both weekends in a row we stayed maintaine came they would say it was one issue but it didn’t get resolved. also the pool was limited usage when u get to the pool someone put u on a waiting list and then would only let you swim for 15-30 minutes. If I pay for the amenities I want to utilize them also they wanted to switch my room at 11 pm or so because the water was not hot and I had room on different floors both weekends but family was sleep so I didn’t want to move rooms that late.Nice people decent place just need to figure out how to make sure customers are able to utilize the amenities they pay for because sometimes that’s the main reason they pick hotels especially when they have kids

United StatesOur tv didn’t work. Had to move to a different room after first night—staff offered no help in moving. No hairdryer in room—had to ask and wait. Bathtub didn’t drain—I was standing in 3” of water by end of shower. Refrigerator was frosted over so couldn’t fit food in. E moved to an “upgraded” room which was the same room except TV worked and had a hair dryer, plus they gave us snacks which I don’t eat. I felt we should have been compensated some for the first night. Rooms were quite expensive to have those types of issues.
Pool was fun for kids. Location okay.

United StatesThe bathroom was very small. The pool was inaccessible for our first evening due to the large number of unsupervised kids running wild in the pool area. I counted 18 kids in the hot tub at once. And 15 more in the pools. Maybe more. Kids were running around like maniacs. The snacks set out for eve reception were inedible, could not be enjoyed because these kids had their hands in everything. No one was monitoring the food at all. Nor were any employees taking care of the pool area crowding. The hot tub was shut down, broken, when we went down to use the pool area at 7 am the next morning. Which was the only time we found the pool usable if we didn't want to share with 30 unsupervised kids. I think it was the numerous people who were in the hot tub that broke it. I was very disappointed and dissatisfied by the lack of employee intervention. We chose this hotel for the Hilton reputation. Thought it would be less crowded with kids, and at least more low key and quiet. Will just stay at sports complex hotel next time. It's closer to the stadium since and it's the same type of environment as this one. And less expensive. Since Hilton allows unruly kids.
The room was nice. Having a sitting area separate made it feel more homey. The pool was neat, with two levels. And the atrium area was really pretty with the fountain. Loved the glass elevator. The evening drinks were a nice bonus. The snacks not so much.

United StatesThe elevators were a disaster for how many people were getting on and off of them. The bathroom floor was covered in dirty standing water when we first entered the room. There was also plaster coming apart and hanging down above the shower. Also, the remote did not work for the tv in the main room. Getting breakfast was chaotic.
