Several renovations taking place so restaurant of lodge was relocated to a different area than the lodge.

Property was clean and well maintained, lodge and cabins within the state park. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The wait to register was a slow process with just 2 customers ahead of us took a good 20-25 minutes to get registered . The Receptionist didn't appear to know how to ask people calling -in to 'hold the call". Was disappointed that my g kids who dropped by to visit were not allowed to use the pool even after offering to pay extra & there were maybe 6 -8 people using the pool at the time. Receptionists was not the friendliest & unwilling to flex on "policy", ... Kind of a rip-off when the pool hrs were from 10am-8 pm & they made sure you knew to check out of the room & pool by 11am. Nice place to stay but also no microwave in the room & the restaurant was closed making it a short trip to the conference center if you wanted to eat on the premises.

There was no free breakfast , the restaurant was being renovated. Room was very clean & nice.

At the time the restaurant was closed for remodeling, and we were even told that it opened at 7am while we were there.

Beautiful, quiet, secluded location. The Lodge was so unique in architecture. Buildings are not built so beautifully anymore.

If I nitpicked the place: It is rustic and I get that, but it could use some improvements. Mostly the exterior. Although I did see construction trailers. Maybe they’re working on it. I personally didn’t care for the mattress. It was hard, not firm with some bounce, just hard and old. You can hear everything through the walls, I’m talking about everything. However, I would come back. I’ll request a room that’s not facing the pool.

The front desk girls! They were over the top amazing! Especially Hannah & Sadie. Genuinely sweet and helpful. The pool was big and very clean. Having a balcony, it was nice sitting outside. The room was clean. Older, but towels and bedding were fresh and clean.

Very strict about checking in at 4:00...aggravating, especially when you have food in a hot car...come on...lighten up a few hours...especially when the room is ready...

The location...the coziness of the nicely renovated lodge...the food is very good.

Our lodge room smelled very foul, as though a plumbing issue. We could hear upstairs guests.

Breakfast was good. Found it odd that the restaurant in the lodge was closed. Part of breakfast is enjoyment of walking to breakfast at the resort and grabbing a cup of coffee without having to drive up the hill to the convention center.

Bathroom floor was dirty, had piles of hair and wood and there were cobwebs all over the room. staff wasn’t the friendliest. Nothing was open, was hoping to play putt putt or so paddle boats.

The cabin s where a little out dated but where very clean and comfortable with everything you need a full size fridge a small stove bathroom that was decent size with good hot water!! The cabin had plenty of room and didn’t make you fill as if you were crowded!! The park was clean and the staff was extremely friendly and the food that was included in your stay was amazing with a fruit bar another table with cereal and waffle machine and then a big long roll a round with it full of good cooked food!!

The early cut-off time for complimentary breakfast. We were unable to take advantage of it either of the 2 days we were there. There was no coffee pot in the cottage but was listed as an amenity.
