Was surprised the parking lot wasn’t maintained as well as o thought with all the snow.

Love the location to town and close to the lake. The pool and hot tub were great for a snowy trip

Front desk controls guest room temperature which is nuts. Food at breakfast was cold when it s/h been hot. Parking lot was not plowed. It was extra icy and dangerous, and while they had heavy equipment in the parking lot they were just moving piles of snow from one place to another, but the driveway remained a major hazard. Nothing was shoveled, except a path to the dumpsters for the staff to use.

Breakfast food was mostly cold when it should have been hot. I was not able to control temp in my room, it was constantly hot. Staff sent someone who didn’t speak English to look at unit and I was annoyed that we were unable to communicate to fix the problem. I slept w/the window open for 3 days in March. Christmas music playing in lobby in February was annoying. Location was great, room was clean.

Great room, quiet, clean, super bedding. Ample parking, nice gym, pool/hot tub and wonderful breakfast in the Great Room overlooking the lake. It's the best place in town to stay.

The room was a good size but I was disappointed because we booked a lake view, but as it turned out not all lake view rooms are equal - we got the one with 2 small windows under a balcony on the second floor, and it was way too dark inside, not what I imagined for a lake view room. The beds were on the softer side, not the most comfortable for my back, at other places I have slept on more comfortable ones. The pillows were too soft, almost flat when you lay down, I struggled with that. I also didn’t like that there was a flat sheet under the duvet instead of a duvet cover, and my kids ended up sleeping most of the time with the duvet only which is by no means hygienic. This is a common thing in hotels though. We didn’t want our towers changed daily so we would put the tag on the door, but the staff would still change them. The only day we actually wanted them changed and did’t leave the tag, they were not changed.

Wonderful common area to have breakfast, eat a takeout, play games, read a book, or just watch the lake; great rustic decor, bright, spacious, charming, has fireplace, lake view. The common areas is one of the best and most practical we’ve seen. There was complimentary hot chocolate, tea and coffee, and in the afternoon - cookies and popcorn. The breakfast was good. The location is great.

The pillows were not my favorite, but additional pillows were provided upon request.

The location was perfect. Walking distance to many attractions and restaurants. There was a coffee, tea and water station in the lobby day and night. Hot chocolate station was set up periodically in the lobby. The room was very spacious and offered a beautiful view.

when we checked in person at front desk did not make us aware you needed to put a hang tag on your rear view mirror in your car

First breakfast was free as always at a Hampton Inn. Great selection of food where you can sit in this very large room with a view of Mirror Lake
