Clean, reasonably priced hotel - missing restaurant and hot water.

The hot water took more than 5 minutes running to come to 'warm.' We stayed over a Thursday night and discovered that the restaurant was completely closed on Fridays. Somewhere it should be noted before making the reservation. Maybe a note saying that they observe orthodox Jewish customs. That still wouldn't indicate that there would be no food on Friday morning.

    Room was clean, very comfortable.

Room was quite far away from reservation desk. I think we were in the 400 wing of the old Holiday Inn rather than being in the 4000 room numbers of the Armand very soft mattress. Not new.

No breakfast offered except at the restaurant. Holiday Inn express used to have free breakfast now that has closed.

Surcharges extra 10.00 per room for security?! There was some convention which somehow meant we couldn’t swim until 10, it’s nice seeing kids being kids but it was like parents let them loose during whatever event was being held. They were running up and around the building back and forth in the elevators like a game. It wasn’t a proper or formal event as far as we could see so It didn’t seem to warrant a shut down of pool access. The jacuzzi wasn’t functional and there was no note on the booking advising of limitations. The floors in the bathroom were very sticky in both our rooms.

The beds were comfortable and great pillows

Curtain had slight tear. Thermostat did not appear to be capable of being managed by guests however that was not something I explored for long.

Large facility. Great location central to Stamford, CT. First floor is excellent for large events. Very comfortable bedding. Updated bathroom. Bedroom lighting was bright (so many hotel rooms do not offer good lighting. This was one of the best.)

The room was not very nice. There were wallpaper was peeling. The toilet seat was broke. The hairdryer did not work and when we called for every replacement, they never showed up, but when we went downstairs, the guy was on his cell phone at the front desk.

The outside property was very nice. However our room was not. The toilet seat was broke. The shampoo on the wall was just sitting in the bathtub broke off. The floor was not clean and the blow dry did not work and we called for another one and they never showed up however, when we checked out, there was a gentleman sitting at the desk on his cell phone.

the oversized vehicle lot was full so I had to park in the loading dock. Not a big deal and it's a champagne problem but I was happy to not have to pay for parking.

Great hotel with a great layout. The main lobby are were clean and well kept and the rooms were clean also. The gentleman who checked me in was very polite and helped me figure out parking as my vehicle was to tall for the regular parking garage and the oversized vehicle lot was full.
