Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsThere is something wrong with the staff. No one smiles, no one says hi (back). Front desk experience unwelcoming, almost as if they're robots. Some serious yelling and swearing every evening at the backside of the building, with a lot of F words .. looked like staff taking a break... Not good
Just a regular BW at a good location for visiting Kingston. Everything clean and working fine

United StatesOn the other hand, the room facing the pool was awful. There's no natural light because it's facing inside the building, and there's only one lamp in the room. It was oppressively dark. This room was also very humid because of the pool, despite us running the air conditioner all day/night. It was truly the worst room I've ever stayed in. Thankfully, they were able to move us, or we would have found another place to stay. They also have an arcade that they really should remove. Of the $20 we spent, we should have been refunded $11 because the machines simply didn't work. However, if you go to the front desk and ask for a refund, they give you a phone number to call. We called that number, and after a few calls and a few emails, we were told we would not receive a refund. I don't understand why the hotel would keep these machines because it looks bad for them, not the random vendor they're using to supply the machines. Alternatively, they should give refunds for broken machines rather than making their guests chase down an uncooperative vendor.
I would rate this place a 2 or a 8 depending on where in the hotel you're staying. The staff are fantastic. They are all really lovely and helpful. The location is good, and our room facing the river was nice and clean.

United StatesI was in a handicap accessible room, and assumed it would be a step in shower because that is how it was depicted in the photo online. However, there was a step in tub in my room. This made showering impossible.
Breakfast was fine. The location was convenient. We enjoyed the pool. The beds were very comfortable.

United StatesThe shampoo, body wash ran out and were not filled. TV remote did not work. However, we asked and they fixed the remote. Game room machines or the tokens never worked.
Beds are quiet comfortable. And breakfast was ok too. Majorly hot breakfast is served.

United StatesToilet seats were both up with something black plastic in toilet. Pubic hairs all over white sheet top pulled back. Pubic hair in sink and dead bug in soap dish. Pool guy threw chlorine powder into pool without measuring at 10:00. Dangerous to burn skin. Someone left heat on all night so 94 Degrees not safe. We couldn’t swim Sunday but he didn’t stop others. As if it was safe.

United StatesThe room was small. It was a long weekend and we needed a room last minute with no openings anywhere. My son passed away so we had to make arrangements. The price was astronomical for two nights.
The breakfast was great. Very good.

United StatesOur booking was confirmed but it was not showing up on hotel system. We had to wait for an hour with two overtired kids late in the night. Hotel staff was helpful and kept trying to get in touch with Booking.com but noone would respond. It took an hour for an agent to get hold of someone and then we got the last room available at the property as they were sold out for the night! What a horrible experience booking through this website!

SwitzerlandThe room was very old and dark. Bathroom needs an upgrade. The light switch was like a timer, difficult to know how long it lasted. I was taking a shower and the light went off.
The room was big but, it has a fridge and linens were soft and clean. Towels were also soft.

United StatesThe WiFi never really worked - asked several times at the desk - was staying there 2 weeks had multiple reservations .. not really addressed not fixed properly , super slow connection could not zoom call or stream video. The room is only cleaned if you ask it to be which for the price of the rooms was a bit odd. The door keys barely worked had to get a new key almost everyday( annoying to have to go to desk each day - key was not near phone or electronic device) - I had 5 / 6 rooms at the property for our team - all reported these findings . If they were all addressed we will come back - rest if the hotel was good . One thing they couldn’t control is how loud people are at pool into the night hours, lots of screaming and splashing until 9 ish each night.
Big rooms , nice pool area , bed comfortable , decent food at restaurant , nice gym area , easy parking.

United StatesWe had 2 queen beds. The bathroom was very small though. It was hard to have 2 people in there. There was only one sink. You have to call them if you want your room cleaned by 11 am. If you just want a few items attended to, like emptying your garbage or additional toilet paper, you have to call downstairs or find the maid.
Breakfast was simple, cereals & some fresh fruits & some precooked hot items. They didn't replace items that ran out, which was disappointing. They did have a pool & work out center.
