It wasn't clear from the Booking.com website that I had to pay extra $22 for parking. Although the breakfast staff was great, the food choice was weak.

Location is superb. The room was clean, good, and comfortable.

Best location to explore Hollywood. Extremely kind stuff,we felt like family members there. Nice smell in the room,cleanliness. Just behind the Dolby theatre,still silent place.

Breakfast was wonderful and Patricia just exceeded expectations with a jar of Vegemite ready for us aussies. Staff very friendly and location was great for us to do everything we needed to do in the area.

The breakfast is very poor, with no vegetables, no cheese or sausages. Just toast/waffles or bagels.

This is our third stay at this hotel and it never disappoints us. It's an older property, but nicely maintained and very clean. The management is friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is basic, but Patricia (in charge of breakfast) makes it special. The location is unbeatable (near attractions but in a quiet street).

Of course some modernisation would raise the rating for the hotel, mainly the bathroom, but overall no real negatives.

Having seen mixed reviews of this hotel I was a little wary, however it was great! The room - yes it is old but we ( 4 adults staying 10 days) had plenty of space, a kitchen, 2 x large beds and it was clean. The shower was pretty good - a little temperamental hot/cold but overall pretty good. We were on the first floor and no, the building doesn't have a lift, but it didn't bother us at all! Location - very central and a good spot to base from. Just like most of the area in LA you don't want to walk around much at night off the main strip but daytime no problems at all. Free breakfast - Basic yes, but FREE! Toast, waffles. cereal and tinned fruit with tea/coffee or juice - a perfectly good breakfast. We don't do hot breakfasts as a family so it was perfect for us, and the ladies making the waffles were lovely - when she heard our accent she whipped out her secret jar of vegemite for us! Such a lovely touch and greatly appreciated. Staff - FANTASTIC! All of the staff were so lovely and couldn't do enough for you. They went out of their way to make the stay enjoyable and make sure we had everything we needed. Mr Ifti- the driver- was great too. We had him take us to Disneyland and he was lovely, chatty and a great guide for the trip. Honestly I feel that some of the review I had read were very unfair and reflect more on the person that wrote them than the hotel. You do get what you pay for and in this case I feel maybe even better than what we paid for!

- Bathroom: It's old, water pressure not good and it was quite difficult to set the temperature (only a small touch would make the water from cold to super hot) - Breakfast: it starts later than other hotels, 7h30am. Which makes the lines pretty long for waffles and no tables to seat.

- Reception people were quite helpful and kind with us since check-in until check-out, when we needed to leave our luggages until night. Thank you so much for such kindness! - Rooms are wide, lots of space. - Breakfast was simple, but good. - Location is awesome, close to Hollywood street and the subway. It was great for us since we didn't rent a car. Also, we felt safe and secure even late night - Price was good considering the location. I would definitely stay there again someday.

Clean and staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. We arrived late after a concert and there was no parking. They said no problem, took our keys and parked the car in a second lot. We had planned on spending the day in Hollywood the next day. They allowed us to keep our luggage at the front desk and to pick up are vehicle in the afternoon despite having an 11:00 check out.

I loved the property. My only complaint is that the bed was quite high. I am 5”3 and literally had to climb up on the bed. It wouldn’t have been an issue but I was nursing a bad knee.

The hotel staff were very accommodating, friendly and super helpful. I would like to also give a special mention and a big thank you to our private driver, Mr Ifty. He was always on time, with his impeccable service and always with a smile. I would highly recommend him and would definitely be using his services again in the future. Thanks again 🙏

Good location, Decor somewhat outdated but the nice fresh clean room, comfy bed and kitchenette added value to our stay. Staff was friendly, accommodating and helpful. Also gave us tops & info for activities in and around the LA n Hollywood area. Safe parking area. Will stay here again.
