We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United StatesWe got there and we had pre paid for the room on line so we were told only a deposit was needed in case of any damages instead they charged us for the room twice plus the deposit. We also got handed keys to a room and when we got there it was occupied with somebody else's belongings which is kind of scary. I would not recommend this place we were only there for one night and i was not comfortable after that.

United StatesThe staff looked at me like I had genitalia growing out of my face when I walked in. They definitely could have been more friendly at the onset. Also the people who stay at the hotel definitely give the impression that you are walking around in the movie "Idiocracy". Otherwise it was fine. Not really a place I would want to take a kid.

United StatesTowels were not available when housekeeping came by the room. When they came by later that day only gave us only 2 wash cloths for a family of 4. When requested more we were told that they already gave us 2? Floors needed to be swept and dusted. Especially under bed.

United StatesYou get what you pay for. Cheap room but the beds are old and uncomfortable. Maybe just our bad luck but they checked us into a room that wasn't ready. Had to wait after we got the keys. Vending machine took my money and was told it's a 3rd party so no refunds. Asked for extra pillows and didn't get them. Breakfast doesn't have much of a selection. Many waited to make a waffle. They do charge for parking now.

United StatesI wasn't able to go into my room for almost an hour because the door knob wasn’t working, I wasn’t the only one having this issue, after almost an hour the maintenance guy showed up but he couldn’t fix the doorknob, he opened up the window that way I could be able to open the door from inside. Also, I was not expecting to get charged an extra $5 for my parking permit.
It was clean but the bed sheets had cigarette burn marks.

United StatesDefinitely will hear your neighbors inside or outside all night. TV didn't work. The shower wall had hair from the last person shaving. Patched up holes, the "safety" thing on the door has been broken.
Location is convenient for most things to see in San Diego. Front desk staff were quick with check-in and friendly. Parking is covered or not. AC wall unit worked well.

United StatesMy TV didn’t work properly and maintenance had to come to fix it. The fix was to give me a secondary remote and every time I used the TV, I had to use both remotes to work it. After an evening out, I returned at 10pm, and my door wouldn’t open. The locking mechanism on the door wasn’t functioning properly. The front desk attendant told me that was a common problem and that maintenance would have to break in through a window to unlock the door. So I waited outside of my room for about ten minutes before the maintenance worker came to break in through my window with a screw driver to manually open my door. Thankfully I didn’t have to go out again that evening because the door wasn’t fixed. And it was also extremely concerning that someone could just pop open my window from the outside so easily. I had also observed people prowling the cars and digging in the outside trash cans.
The motel is in a great location for visiting San Diego. The staff members were so friendly and helpful.

United States1 elevator only. The lighting outside on the building. I turn out the lights in the room to sleep and the lights outside filled the entire room even with the janky curtain's. The bed was so hard, I could not sleep at all. The lights on the AC inside the room were so bright it also made it difficult to sleep. The "breakfast" room was not opened at 6:30 as stated on the room card. The choices for breakfast were very poor. The microwave in the room was so old it did not heat very well. Overall for the price, things could have been better.

United StatesThe property needs to accept forms of payment like a chime credit card. It's still not clear to me why they don't. It is a legitimate valid credit card from a financial services organization that's worth billions and billions of dollars. It's sheer ignorance and opposition to technological advancements that cause property owners not to accept these cards as valid forms of payment. And if that attitude continues, they'll find themselves stuck in a world that no longer uses the forms of payment that they prefer. It's a stubborn stupid view of a luddite. It needs to change. Checking into this hotel was ridiculously difficult because of that issue. Unacceptable. This is 2024. Deal with it.
