We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United StatesThe plumbing was bad. The sink and toilet would not work properly. We let the front desk know and the toilet was fixed but the sink wasn’t and kept backing up. Also the room had a lot of wear and tear. Party of the carpet were missing and the door was not aligned properly.

Not much of anything, maybe the rate? But considering the BAD, and somewhat disgusting room appearance, I believe the rate should have been even less.

United StatesThe bed felt moist, they couldn't offer more covers due to only having 1 extra cover available out of the whole hotel. The room we stayed in the door wouldn't open from the inside only when someone opened it for us from the outside, which is danger to be trapped in a room. Although switched to a different room, that room door didn't properly shut or lock, so it was just take one or the other at this point. The key to the room didn't work. The bathroom wasn't in the best condition. The window was broken. The breakfast cereal was old, the juice was watered down. The hotel could use some work honestly.
