The furniture was a litte tired and the fridge was noisy. I was there on a Saturday night so it was fairly pricey.

Housed in a grand, interesting building, this hotel is well situated to enjoy everything Milwaukee has to offer. Front desk was super welcoming and charming. The room was clean.

Breakfast was just average but not overpriced. The neighborhood was perfect, close to everything. The hotel itself was beautiful.

Bathroom needs shower repair and peeling wallpaper. The vents may need to be cleaned, woke up very congested.

The original room was a king and would have been better due to being interior/courtyard view. We knew the morning sun wouldn't wake us and the city noise would be at minimum. However, we would have cooked! The room we were moved to had an exterior view so there was some traffic noise and only a queen sized bed (only one of us noticed this part).

The hotel & restaurant staff were extremely helpful and accommodating! We arrived at check-in with a request of late check out due to having an online interview the following day (it had not been part of the plan when the hotel was originally booked). Front desk was able to allow us to stay in our room a bit longer to complete this and avoid some unnecessary stress with a morning scramble. Additionally, our room was great but we found out after a little bit that the heating/cooling wasn't working correctly. One call to the front desk though and we were immediately moved to make sure we'd be comfortable throughout the night. As for the restaurant, we had dinner when we first arrived - mainly out of convenience. However, it turned out to be a great move because the food was excellent! The next morning we made sure to stop down for the breakfast buffet and were once again, full and happy. A birthday mimosa was able to be found as well ;)

The location was iffy just cause it’s on a busy road which is unavoidable. So not a thing to ruin my experience just made it a little difficult to access only because that was my first time in Milwaukee as well.

The inside was amazing. Very put together. Very clean. Even saw people getting photos done there.

Valet parking was convenient, but it costs $39 plus tip and is the only option. I guess to be expected downtown. Overall, the total cost was a decent deal comparatively for the area.

Beautiful architecture and decor. Within walking distance of concert halls, downtown establishments, and lakeshore. The beds were comfy. Very friendly staff. Noon checkout was nice. Would stay again.

Limited channels; normally watch the today show couldn’t find a local NBC channel. But that could be just me not finding it and giving up. I also don’t really like the price. It’s nice but not $200 for the night nice. Also no breakfast included

Coffee in the room is always nice

Room needs a thorough cleaning. Dirty dusty corners. Found small items on the floor. Fresh linens on bed but were hastily and sloppily made.

Beautiful historic property conveniently located near restaurants, shops, sights and transit. Spacious room with comfortable beds. Excellent friendly and accommodating staff. Management that is willing to listen to concerns and address them.

expensive local parking and bad view in second room

Hotel is gorgeous. Stayed 2 nights, first night had noisy neighbors, was easily moved and the next room was marvelous. Beds are comfortable, room is large and pretty.Only 2 bad things- local parking was expensive and view for 2nd room was over rooftops. Great location, easy walk to market.

This beautiful historic building, with its modern day comforts, makes for a fabulous hotel and was a pleasure to stay in. The staff were wonderful - warm welcome from Reception, friendly and cheery housekeeping in the morning, and the valet parking guy (sorry I don't have his name) was fabulous. Only stayed 1 night as we were on our way home to the UK via Chicago, but wish we could have stayed longer.

Front desk staff did not stand to greet us at check in or check out. They were not overly friendly and did not ask us about our stay.

Location and building were beautiful. Room was spotless and we had a great welcome note from our housekeeper, Sharde'.
