It is not really soundproof, so you can hear people talking when they in the hallway. Other than that great place to stay. It is also outside of the city so to get into the city by uber is like 15-20 minutes depending on traffic.

It is very clean and the facilities the place offers are super. The garden, living space and the theaterroom are awesome! Also we felt really safe as women.

Would have loved an early or later checkout. We had to check out at 11 but our train did not leave until almost 7. Would have been great to have a locker to store our bags. Also no charging station available, such as a lamp. The guard staff were absolute rude and confrontative!

The lodging was very clean and comfortable.

It was very spacious and clean. The down side was that the entire property is windows so every room had sun shades but they didn’t stop the light from coming in. So as soon as the sun was up, every room was completely lit. Also, there was a leak in the master shower that they look to have tried to repair but didn’t. If you are looking for space, bedrooms and kitchen, it’s good. It’s not luxury by any means. Good value.

It would have been great to have a gym! If there was one, I couldn't find it. The charging point by the bed was hard to use.

Comfortable room, Lovely shower! Good location, close to public transport. We enjoyed staying there :-)

My biggest issue was that the unit could use a deep cleaning. The stove top, oven, and the corners in the shower needed a thorough cleaning. Don't get me wrong, I was only heating things up in the microwave and wasn't doing real cooking, so it wasn't a deal breaker, and I would stay here again. Also, whle the parking garage was easy to find and convenient, in the information, they stated that the parking "currently" was a little over $11 a day, but it was actually $24.35 for a day. I understand that Kasa does not set the parking prices, and they say in the info that parking prices are out of their control but if you are going to list a "current" price, it should not be double the price you list when people get there to park. Parking tip: If you get back to the unit in the evening, there are some parking spots right in front of the building that are free from 8pm - 8am. During the day after 8am, it's only 2 hours max free parking in those spots. Also, after my first night, instead of paying $24 dollars to park for 1 day/24 hours, I only paid $12 for 12 hours because I was going to be at work all day with my car.

This is my second stay at a Kasa property. I love their concept of a "virtual front desk" where you don't interact with people but instead you receive all check-in/out instructions and property information by text, email, and through their web portal. The location was great, being right on the edge of the Del Ray neighborhood with lots of independent shops and restaurants. The space was great for one person, about the size of a small hotel room except it had a kitchen with a full-size fridge, dishwasher, microwave, and stove. There was also a stackable washer and dryer in the unit. While I didn't use them, there were decent amenities in the building like a coffee bar, business center, fitness room, and even a running track. The pics below were taken after my first night, so I had already slept in the unit.

Maybe I didn't look for it properly, but among all the instructions and guidelines about how the apartment works I couldn't find a guide to use the key fobs, the most important item for your stay because you can't enter the building or go to the different amenities without them. Thanks to a kind resident who taught me I was able to enter the building after going to buy groceries. Foreign tourists do not always have access to the internet apart from the wifi provided, so they can't ask for assistance outside the building. I'd suggest that after check in we could receive a pdf (with password) with the most important things, so we can review the info even offline.

The building is pretty and has many places to sit and relax. Everything is done remotely (check in, check out, or any other type of assistance), but they have an almost excellent online guide with almost everything about the building. The location is great if you like a quiet place, almost everything around is residential, but you'll have a couple of places to eat or buy groceries at a 5-minute walk. Most of the touristic locations are at a short bus ride, which is very convenient. The apartment inside is just what I needed, very clean and fully equipped! I had almost no problem during my stay. I could also get an extension very quickly when my flight was cancelled and I had to take a completely different flight the next day. All those procedures are solved very fast and smoothly!

Dirty pillows (2 had stains) and dirty rug. Literally had 3 covers of plastic straws which means it’s not been cleaned between stays. I was on a two night stay and they texted saying they’ll send someone to clean they just don’t know when. Given I was leaving super early the next day that was not necessary. I put towel and slept on top of the sheets and pillow. I was too grossed out given the pillow stains.

Kind reception who explained the fob, how to get to the appt, etc. The many emails and texts don’t help as much. Specially when you get a message saying elevator is down.

The description speaks of free parking and the parking was not free. There was an additional deposit or insurance cost which is not mentioned in the description. A convenient elevator was not working during the stay and there was a water issue on the second day.

We were put in a basement room. Right next to a parking deck. No I'm not joking. You get to hear people opening and slamming their car doors all day and night. If they had put these pictures in the listing we would've requested a room NOT in the basement. In addition, the fridge was loud, the toilet was making noise on its own, you can hear the cars and people walking and talking everywhere. Misleading pictures are from the rooms on the floors above. Maintenance rooms right next to it, including public toilet, and there's always someone walking, talking and making noise, and you can hear it all. There was no way we would be able to comfortably sleep there, so we booked another place immediately and left.

Location was good. But that's about all.

I did not like that bookings did not mention that it was a one pet policy. My booking was canceled once I arrived to Washington DC, and because of my two dogs (neither weighing more than 18 lbs) I had to return home that same night.

The stay never happened due to their pet policy. It was one pet only and I had two small ones. Please be mindful they do not allow big breeds such as huskies and more. I advise calling them beforehand. On the plus side, the customer service representative was very friendly and helpful.
