Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe rooms we’ve stayed in are not very inviting. This last room would improve with a bit of loving care (a bench at the end of the bed) a friendlier kitchen area - no counter or sink and in a dark corner. The kiva fireplace is too big for room and would be less dominant with a lighter color paint. Mostly clean, but details make a difference. All the wood doors needed a good cleaning - with dirt on all the trim edges. Corners of rooms also need a better cleaning.
We like the location and the Staff.

United StatesMy wife called the place charming. Layout was nothing like anyplace I have stayed before. It was like having your own casita. Also Great breakfast. Had the chorizo Christmas burrito every morning. The beds were very comfortable. Also never heard any of the neighbors. We loved it.

United StatesI didn't give 5-stars on "Value", but I guess Santa Fe is not an inexpensive place to stay.
Beautiful, spacious, unique "Casita" apartment #37 was terrific introduction to Santa Fe for us. Breakfast terrific as well as accomodation. Everything was really good!

United StatesWe were in a room with a small kitchenette. It would have been nice to have a couple kitchen linens— or even sturdier paper towels to wash dishes.
We were able to order from a breakfast menu. The options were good and the food great. The hotel is located within walking distance of downtown attractions.

United StatesNothing. It was beyond amazing.
We absolutely loved our stay at Las Palomas! This boutique Airbnb is the perfect blend of artsy charm and cozy comfort. The made-to-order FREE breakfast served in the artsy lobby was next-level—fresh, delicious, and honestly one of the best parts of our trip. All of the fellow travelers were fun to chat with over breakfast, and the vibes were perfect. Free firewood for the in-room fireplace was such a thoughtful touch, especially after a chilly evening stroll through town. The lobby? Oh, just your average magical space with a full-grown tree growing through the middle! Every corner of Las Palomas radiates personality and care. It’s warm, welcoming, and full of surprises—in the best way. If you're heading to Santa Fe and want something beyond the standard hotel vibe, this is it. Total hidden gem!

United StatesThe door to our casita and also to our individual room were difficult to close and had to be slammed shut maybe due to the expansion of wood over time. We could hear our neighbors coming as going because the doors were very loud (like a gunshot) when closing. If doors were sanded/shaved down a bit where they strike the frames, it could alleviate this issue.
Wonderful staff. Very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing! Location was easy walking distance to the historic plaza and its surroundings. Cozy accommodations.

United StatesBeautiful suite with fireplace and mini kitchen, colorful Southwest style decor, and extremely helpful staff. We asked about laundry services in town, and the staff told us we could use their washing machine and even provided detergent pods for free. Wondered breakfast, as well. Easy walking distance to the Plaza and artists’ market.

United StatesThe room wasn’t super clean, but the character made up for it. Looking at the dirt on the bathroom windowsill and not being able to find the NBA playoffs on the cable tv turned out to be small distractions, but might be off putting for some~It’s not for everyone.
What a great, funky, authentic, pleasant surprise of a stay. We loved the uniqueness of the space and offbeat feel. And the breakfast was THE best!

United StatesSome work started a little on the early side if you were trying to sleep in but this was very minor and did not affect me personally.
The staff here is super friendly and helpful! The property is an easy walk to downtown Santa Fe and has ample parking if you have a rental car. The breakfast is a great value and delicious. Easy to grab a banana and a coffee for the road as well! Room was spacious and comfortable. Fireplace was easy to turn on and off. Tv was easy to navigate. Firepit outside was a nice touch and they serve ice cream until 10pm so you can have an ice cream by the fire!

United StatesThe casitas are a little on the smaller side, but that really didn’t bother me. We had our own little gas fireplace in the corner.
The atmosphere, way cool vibe. The people were all really friendly. The daily breakfast was amazing. You order off of a pretty extensive menu and everything is restaurant quality. Pastry’s fruit and coffee. We ate there every morning, so that alone saved us $50-$60 every morning. Having your own little casita was pretty cool. Would most definitely stay there again. It is an experience that I will never forget.

AustraliaThe rooms were a bit dated. Yes, it was part of the charm but maybe even just adding some scents might make it not feel or smell so sterile.
Breakfast was delicious and there was a variety of options. I also loved that cold water and snacks were available throughout the day.
