The property is situated across the street from the water, convenient to but not in the old downtown district which is what we wanted. We needed a 3 bedroom apt with 2 service dogs and the Laureate delivered an excellent apt.

Only negative was the elevator- it really needs updating it’s slow. But no negatives about this resort.

Everything was excellent in the room and the bathroom. Sturdy doors and the kitchen had great quality appliances. The bathroom was gorgeous, beds were comfy and the view - well it’s a whole wall of windows floor to ceiling with the amazing gulf view. So gorgeous!!! 🤩🤩🤩 We didn’t try the pool we only had 2 1/2 days in Key West so we were on the go the entire time. This resort was perfect for our family and we love that side of the island.

Everything was perfect! The hotel was clean and well-maintained, and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming — especially the front desk manager, Eric, who was incredibly helpful. The only aspect the hotel should improve is communication about pet fees. While the hotel advertises itself as pet-friendly and mentions that “a charge may apply,” it would be much clearer and more helpful to list the actual cost on the website. Charging $100 per night per pet is quite high. Fortunately, my dog is a companion animal, so the fee did not apply in my case. However, a $100-per-night fee could be a significant deterrent for guests considering staying there.

Overall, it was an excellent stay. The hotel is very clean, the staff is wonderful, and the location is convenient—close to everything. Our room had a beautiful view, plenty of space, and the kitchenette was a great bonus, allowing us to prepare some meals

From the booking photos I thought our bedroom would have a water view but it overlooked parking and the city. The carpeting looked like it needed a good shampoo.

Pool was great! Rooms were well stocked, spacious and nicely decorated. Parking was great. Lobby staff were very friendly and helpful. I was able to print boarding passes for our flight home easily. We enjoyed the refreshments.

It was a little far from the main area of Key West. Will need a vehicle for sure. The price was a little high for just 2 nights in my opinion.

The view from the room was amazing of the sea and pool. The rooms were nice and big enough for our family of 4 plus small yorkie. The pool area was wonderful and great staff.

The only downside was the elevator. It's a nice elevator but it is the only one for the hotel so it takes a while sometimes. I was happy though that it was air conditioned, you could see outside after the garage and it was lightly decorated. I am not of fan of elevators but it wasn't as bad as some other reviews had written in my opinion. I wish there was a jacuzzi.

We had a double queen room on the 3rd floor. The view was amazing! The room was decorated beautifully. I loved the layout of the space. The living room provided a space where you could work, watch tv or scroll on devices. The kitchen was small but had pretty much everything you needed to make meals effectively. It was well equipped with cooking tools, plates, cups, etc. The refrigerator was small but appropriate for the needs we had. The bedroom was big and having a separate room with a family was great so we could all have a little space. It was great! The location was great as we had a boat at the marina and it was very close. It's also a short drive to Duvall and all the other great Key West spots.
