Slightly little leak of sink and hot water was a touch iffy, but onve you got it dialed in it was perfect.

The room was cute, and easy to cool. The food downstairs in the Jack Dempsy room was really good but a touch expensive.

No refrigerator in room. We stayed during a Boil Water time in Tonapah. This was not the fault of the Mizpah staff or facilities.

I was assaulted by a ghost in room 301. Something at 8:30am grabbed my “junk”, pulled back and shook violently. I immeadiately hoppped out of bed and began cursing at said spirit. I packed up all my things and left the room and waited for my friend to wake up and head down to the lobby. I love the hotel, but not the spirit on the 3rd floor.

The hotel was clean and the refurbishment of amenities was great.

The rooms definitely could have been a little cleaner, but overall not bad.

The staff were all so helpful and nice. Easy to talk to and find out all kinds of information on the hotel and surrounding areas.

Night table only on one side (door too close to bed). Very minor.

Our room on the second floor was comfortable and spacious. The night we stayed, dinner was served at the bar, with a more limited menu than the Jack Dempsey Room (sorry to miss it). However, the steak was excellent. Breakfast was also on a more limited menu and served in to-go containers, but it was quite ample with very nice Lavazza coffee. Overall, the Mizpah is a lovely restored splendor of the Golden Age, when silver rules Nevada. The mines are still there behind the hotel.

On the 17 th of January my credit card was charged for the room. And again yesterday my credit card was charged. I called the hotel, but according to them, they did not charge my credit card because I already paid for the room. I sent an email to the manager and will try to call them tomorrow. We have stayed there before and it is the first time that that happened.

Breakfast was served in togo boxes with disposable flatware. Kind of tacky, not that busy, could have used real dishes...and washed dishes as they're used. At least real use flatware...

Jack Dempsey's was closed because of a "leak". But serving menu in the bar. Had salads and split a Mizpah burger. Cocktails were great, burger was fantastic. The bartender, waitress and all around wonderful customer service person all by herself did everything!! Angie was absolutely topnotch as far as customer service. It was very busy in there with the restaurant closed and she was fabulous! She deserves every penny she makes and then some!

It is known to be a haunted hotel which was understood before booking but I didn't know they do nightly ghost tours until after I arrived and the tour needs to be booked in advance. Would have liked to do the tour as the hotel was super interesting. Bathroom could have been a bit cleaner.

This place was great. Super unique historic hotel with a bit of a weird vibe. Convenient location right downtown close to restaurants and amenities. Onsite bar was open during my stay and food was good. Pet friendly.
