Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomProbably the nicest building in Tuba City (well, just outside the border… see below) Beautifully decorated to showcase Hopi art and culture. Large clean room with coffee machine and fridge. Balcony with chairs overlooking pool and gardens. The pool wasn’t open when we stayed in late March but looked like it’d be really nice place to cool off during the summer heat. Simple but tasty breakfast in comfortable lobby. Friendly staff. The hotel is just inside the Hopi Reservation, which keeps to standard Arizona time (i.e. no daylight savings in the summer), whereas the surrounding area is all part of the Navajo nation, which does observe DST to match the rest of the Navajo nation in UT/CO/NM that all do observe DST. Be aware that your phone will likely switch back and forth between time zones in the area and might mean you miss dinner at the Hogan Restaurant in Tuba City (closes 9pm Navajo time, 8pm Hopi/Arizona time during DST). Dennys - next door to the hotel - was tasty and open 24hrs.

United StatesThe check-in wasn't pleasant. The clerk was pretty nasty about an early check-in (I showed up 2 hours early). Her attitude could use improving - I completely understand if a room isn't ready until the normal check-in time, but she took evident pleasure in telling me in no uncertain terms that "check - in is at 3PM and not before". Finally - the "breakfast" was to put it nicely - meager. The styrofoam coffee cups didn't even have lids. Maybe the hotel is strongly encouraging a trip to Denny's next door...
The facility itself is very nice, the room was clean, comfortable. Somebody put some effort in designing the place - the architecture is not your typical hotel / motel - looks like it's nice enough it could have been a small casino.

United StatesWifi was rather slow--frustrating when you need to work. Thermostat was set at 80 degrees in December--took a while to cool it off and must be costing the hotel a lot of money.
Clean, attractive, spacious room, helpful staff, good workspace, comfortable bed. I didn't need them, but the provisions for a handicapped person looked well thought out and efficient.

United StatesI was able to work the television until a staff had to come up and show me how to work the remote, it was kinda of tedious. The one hour time difference interfered with breakfast time, since I had to be an event at 7 AM and breakfast was not served until 6 AM Hopi Time, but I had to be at work at 7 AM Mountain standard time.
I like the spacious room and the quietness.

United StatesThe hotel is beginning to show signs of age. There are things that need to be fixed especially when it is customer facing (i.e. ice maker out of order; cover of the HVAC unit was taped on).
The hotel was very clean and well kept. It has begun to show signs of age but you can tell they do the best with what they have. The staff was helpful and attentive. The room was very clean and well kept.
