The beds are very uncomfortable and the pillows really poor.

Although the platform bed was attractive, the mattress slid really easily if you tried to sit up in bed and rest against the headboard. Also when you got into bed you would slide a few feet opposite direction. Another annoying thing was the loud heater. When it came on, which was pretty frequently because it was fairly cool out, it paid a lot of noise. I was awake from sleep a couple of times.

Although the room was small, it was very well organized. The bathroom was in the corner which saved room, but also allowed a well placed corner tub and shower. The room was also attractive. A step up from most Motel 6s.

Essentially it’s a truck stop so it’s a long way from the interesting town centre of Benson. The interesting portico in the picture makes it look a lot more glamorous than it is. But essentially you get what you pay for.

It was a good location for people wanting a stop off the I-10 with very cheap petrol. It was very clean given they have a lot of pets staying. Essentially a basic motel and good value for money - comfortable and surprisingly quiet given the location.

Tv remote didn't work. I could work it manually but as a channel surfer. I just referred to my phone.

It was quieter than I expected. I didn't have to use the AC unit so that helped.

The hotel is too old and dated there were no rooms on the first floor and I requested a room on the first floor with close access to a door due to luggage that I had on my truck. The door exiting from the elevator is very small .

Well they told us they served coffee at 6 am. So I went down there at 6:30. No coffee. Told the guy behind the counter. All he did was pour the days before coffee in the vat and pit it out. Couldn’t believe what I saw.

It was loud. People were coming and going every hour from 11pm to 5am, and slamming doors every time they did. But I stayed on a weekend-so that may have made it worse.

The mattress was free floating so kept moving around when I sat on it. I didn't have a problem when sleeping, however.

Door to the back of the property is unlocked even though it shows there is a key card outside. It made me feel unsafe being in the room right by the back exit. The door is not on any spring so it slams shut. And people were using the door all night - very disruptive trying to sleep. People smoke right on the step outside the door so even though the rooms were non- smoking, the whole back area smells of smoke.

The room itself was nice. Bed was Comfortable. Room for dog bed, nice size bathroom. I like that they had non-carpeted floors. Relieving area for dogs with poop bags and trash can provided. Refrigerator and microwave provided. Even though it’s next to a truck stop, you wouldn’t know there trucks next door.

Water pressure was a little low in the bathroom but manageable

Room was clean and bigger than I thought it would be. Nice and clean bathroom. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great location with easy access to highway. Would stay here again. Even though it was behind a truck stop the noise was minimal. Places to eat right there also

Pool was out of service. The outside door lock access to the building wasn't working so anyone could get in. The lock to my room (134) was also a bit janky and wouldn't consistently work correctly so it took me a couple of tries with the key card to open the door each time. The mattress is good but slips on the platform because there isn't a frame or corner guards to keep it in place.

Very convenient location close to convenience store / gas and well lit parking. Always love that Motel 6 doesn't charge extra for a pet - and they actually offered a pet area with stocked poop bags. Room had a microwave and mini fridge - a definite plus in a budget motel. Staff were very pleasant and late check in isn't an issue. Coffee was promptly available in the lobby at 6am (not fantastic but okay and free). Room was nice for budget. TV channel issue from previous reviews has been resolved. Surprisingly quiet!
