Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IrelandA tea/coffee station in the room would be nice but there is free coffee available in the lobby.
Location is excellent, surrounded by bars, restaurants, cafes and very accessible. Having the balcony room was an extra bonus and gave some extra space. The staff are also polite and friendly.

Czech RepublicTruly, the room could have been cleaner. It was quite dusty upon arrival, but nothing too severe. All the essentials were there and the room was in very good condition overall.
The location of the place is truly ideal. Surrounded by several great establishments on a very nice street with a great deli right opposite as a bonus ! The windows seal very well and with them closed the room is so quiet (you can barely hear the NYC white noise and whatever else noisy that is inevitably on the street). Thus, it's very easy to sleep.

United StatesI was not pleased with the location of the hotel, it's really ideal for a younger patron that can easily walk for a few blocks to find the stores that they need. I'm much older and the distance from public transportation was an issue for me.
My room near the top of the hotel was very spacious and had a spectacular view of midtown New York. The hot showers were wonderful. It was also very quiet, I never had any street noise.

United StatesI wish there had been a coffee maker in the room, but coffee was available in the lobby. Also, according to Booking, the property was supposed to cover airport transportation (we even filled out a form with our flight details), but no one responded when we emailed to request assistance.
What we loved the most: the room was cleaned daily without even having to ask—honestly a rarity these days, regardless of the price. The location was excellent, and the water was always very hot!

United StatesRoom was very small but thats just NYC. The sheets has a polyester feel to them. Elevator kind of sketchy.
The Noliatan lobby at first glance is a good vibe, the staff was very kind, and they are also pretty awesome about late check out. Location was the best part of our stay! Center of downtown, very happy with most of our destinations being walking distance. Surplus of restaurants & shopping options.

BrazilSincerely nothing. The main library was being renovated, but it wasn't anything that disturbed our stay.
Location is amazing, easy walking to several places and really close to the subway station. The room I stayed at had a lovely balcony with a bench, small but nice, and it was spotless clean. Amenities were good, and all worked well. I had a afternoon flight and they allowed me to check out a bit later, what was really useful, but it was also low season, so they probably had availability. Front desk is a crew of amazing people, super helpful and nice.

United StatesRoom layout was pretty choppy. The water closet was very far away from the sink and shower/bathtub area. I had a corner room and could not black out either the street lights or the morning light. The lighting in the room was HORRIBLE, except for the bath area. There was only task lighting at the desk and on the nightstands. No overhead lighting in the main portion of the room. It made it rather dark at night.
Loved the hard wood floors and the fact that housekeeping mops them clean. The location was super for exploring Nolita, Chinatown, and LES. Much more economical than other SoHo options. Housekeeping was very generous with the towels.

United StatesI called numerous times to confirm my booking. When I got there, they were overbooked and told me I got a “upgrade” room and then will need to move to another room the next day and would not have access to another room until 4 pm. The was guy was like we can keep your bags. I was tired so I was like fine. It bothered me so I called to speak to a manager the next morning. I told them it was unacceptable because I booked for the room for consecutive days and should access to a room for my complete stay. The manager apologized and moved us to another room at 10 am. But the room I booked was a corner room with a king bed and larger than the upgrade. The upgrade only had a balcony which I didn’t need because it was cold and rainy. It was all dumb. To me that was a downgrade. They left a bottle of Prosecco in the room but I’m sober and they shouldn’t have assumed that I drink. It’s the worst thing for someone who is sober to have alcohol in the room!

United StatesThe hotel at least our room was a bit run down. One of the pillowcases was stained with what looked like blood. It was clearly washed but you would think, especially in a hotel setting, they would be a bit more particular in what gets put on the bed! I have previously stayed at the Sohotel which is just around the corner and I would stay there before coming back here.

CanadaThis is going to be totally different person to person but for me the bed was quite stiff. It was kind of weird because I’ve had way comfier beds at worse hotels. And then also the heating (fans) were very loud but they really needed to be running to keep the room warm. Not the hotel’s fault at all but just something to be aware of if you’re booking in the cold months.
I loved my stay here. So much to see and do in the area and super transit accessible to the rest of the city. The staff were great, and the room was very modern and cool with a gorgeous view. Love a boutique hotel: never had to wait for an elevator, and the hallways were peaceful and quiet.
