This is a good motel - freshly renovated and in excellent location (Redwood park 10 min away). No breakfast but a cafe ($$$) nearby. But the price is excessive for this type of accommodation

didn’t trust the cleanliness of that place - there were bugs everywhere, bed wasn’t even setup, utensils were dirty. front desk reception was also just okay but a little squrriely and didn’t seem to be the friendliest.

good location, nice size cabin that had everything

Very basic room - bed, mini fridge, microwave. No desk, no chair, small rooms. Just for sleeping. No coffee maker, no free coffee for guests.

A nicely remodeled motel in a very beautiful location amongst the redwoods. Rooms are basic, clean and cheerful. Bed was comfortable.

The cabin we stayed in was a little far of a walk from parking and there was no light at night along the pathway to the cabin. The stairs were slippery due to rain with no grip tape on them and my friend fell on them . The cabin was freezing when we arrived but did warm up after turning on heat for 30 min . It’s a rustic cabin for sure , could use some homey touches and there were party lights outside but not turned on as they were over by the motel .

The bed was not sturdy enough and for someone with back problem it might be an issue. The sheets were clean tho you can see visible stains. Be aware also that front desk is only until 5pm daily which might cause issue if you are a walk-in or don’t follow their online check-in instructions.

The location of the property is just near restaurants and cafes and along the road. It has a swimming pool but closed at the time of our stay since it is winter. The front desk (Navi) was very helpful and allowed us to check-in early so we can attend the online conference we had. The room was clean enough tho quite small but value for money.

Some of the furniture was a bit worn. The decking was a bit dicey.

Rustic but clean duplex, located next to the Northwoods Golf Course (nice) and Restaurant (comfort food). My husband played golf; I stayed poolside. Nice local getaway.

There are some improvements that needs to addressed. 1. toilet set doesn’t hold up. 2. coat hanger from the entrance is loose. 3. sliding door in the living room is broken. 4. bed sheets and towels have stains. 5. during checkout, the staff doesn’t seem to be interested when i was talking. that person needs to be a little friendly in my opinion.

The cabin is nice for the location.

Cabin was not as spacious as shown in pictures and a bit outdated. Cracks in the flooring and uneven surfaces on the stairs and terrace.

Location is perfect for relaxing between redwoods and Russian River. Fireplace for chilly evenings. Great pool facilities for family fun time. Great Cafe for breakfast in walking distance next to the post office.

The room was very sparse and plain. The pictures made it more inviting than it was in person. The room had lots of bottles of conditioner no shampoo.

Coffee maker didn't work. Bunk bed in cabin wasn't a real bunk bed only the bottom which was small but perfect fit for kids. Parking could be a little closer for the cabins as we had to lug all our things to the room. Our balcony/porch wasn't open when we were there. I think they were repairing it. That would've been nice to have morning coffee on and meals outside. Maybe next time.

We loved the upgrade to the cabin. More space is always welcome. The pool was clean and it was a nice size. Never got crowded when we were there. Super friendly staff. Easy check in and out. Close to Armstrong Redwoods, Goat Rock Beach, a Safeway market and eateries & restaurants.

Patio was in accessible because they need to replace them. We were not alerted to this issue prior to our stay or during check in. It was a one of the reasons I chose the place. Cabin had a moldy stale smell.

The location is a great spot and beautiful with all the trees. Pool is a nice size and well maintained. Queen bed in room was comfortable. Stocked toiletries in bathroom was a nice amenity. Dog and kid friendly.

Lovely place, responsive staff, but not very organized re: room availability during construction

We appreciated having the cabin, but it had a double bed, which was very hard for my very tall husband to fit into (and why we booked the king sized bed to begin with). And there was construction being done, which we respect and appreciate. However, the communication that we were moved to the cabin was not passed along and before 9am, there was drilling and loud work being done on the deck of the cabin which we had to ask the staff and workers to stop. It was very unfortunate to be disrupted that way due to poor communication, even with the unexpected changes in room that we had. The first cabin we were moved into had a broken sofa bed (literally sticking out into the air) and someone had clearly slept in the bed (we were moved to a 2nd cabin). While responsive, the staff did not seem to know what was happening at the property to coordinate a more seamless and relaxing stay. For the price, we likely would not stay again after a moderate amount of hassle that was resolved, but not what we were looking for for just 2 days away.

The staff was very responsive. When we arrived, our reserved room with king sized bed was not available for what we were told was 'various reasons'. We were upgraded to a cabin. Check-in and out very easy and can be done online. The location is incredible with picnic benches to sit under the redwoods to have dinner when staying in the cabins. The cabins are delightful with a small and functional kitchen and good sized bathroom and great shower.

Sort of loud being next to the road and a lot of visitors were loud early in the morning. Didn’t like the window right in front and that being the only natural light source. No privacy if you want natural light in your room.

    Comfortable, lively, colorful design. Clean.
