We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United StatesThe parking lot was gross. Tons of bags of dog crap out front and out back. The pool was murky and the front desk had 1 towel to hand out. The stripping in the bathroom was mold covered. The dry rot in the bathroom wall by the tub was gross. Staff were young, disinterested, not very friendly.
We didn't eat there but it was pretty clean. Super comfy beds. Very clean sheets and bedding. The room itself was clean as well. Nice fixtures and fantastic location for the hotel with a beautiful beach out back.

United StatesOur room was dirty to start with. Hot tub didn't work. The bathroom door wouldn't lock. The internet was extremely slow. The food was overpriced for the quality of the food. Transient living in driftwood behind the hotel on the beach. I didn't feel safe walking my kids or dogs back there. Conditioner and body wash dispenser was empty. Only gave us three towels when we checked in with 4.
The location was convenient. The shower worked wonderful.

United StatesWhen arriving my rooms weren’t correct(I called that morning to make sure they were correct & got told that they were). Front desk staff wasn’t friendly when arriving(he seemed to be irritated & not want to be there). Restaurant was closed most of my stay(even though the hours said otherwise). The rooms weren’t as clean as they should have been(stains on bedsheets, something all over the wall, bathtub drain full of hair). We told the front desk multiple times that we needed someone to come in to clean since we were there for 4 days & no one ever came(we took our trash out 2 different days).
