Soap dish still dirty and soap not replaced. Toilet roll holder broken and hanging off of wall. Stained bed cover. Holes in worn-out comforter. Missing washcloth. Missing TV remote, but the tv was on when we checked in. Built-up dust. The faucet was too short for the sink, which caused water to flow onto the counter. The hotel appears to be going through a renovation, but they should rethink whoever they are using to do the repairs.

Rented a ocean view room, it was nice. The sound of the ocean waves every night was peaceful. The restaurants near the facility were great, the beach within walking distance was nice too. I will say charging $15 a day for your parking lot was a bit extreme. And the $60/day pet fee was a little much.

Not able to have ocean view as I paid for, so not worth it to pay extra for it. A building across blocks the view. during reservations they show a clear ocean view through the window and its false. You can hear the steps from the room on top. I had bad neighbors, they were up at 4am, stumping, then heavy steps again at 6am. I wasn't able to sleep comfortable. Too much noise.

The location was good for what we were looking for. The room was clean. The bed was just okay but not terrible. The shower was not good. The water pressure was horrible.

The dirty windows blocked the added view we paid extra for.

The location was one block from the beach. There were 3 restaurants across the street, a coffee shop a block down, public and private parking (hotel charges $15 nightly), a tea shop, and a medical dispensary all within a 2 block radius. I did not see any signs of homeless folks. Breakers was great for breakfast; Nick's serves a large seafood combo and nice prime rib for dinner. Word of warning here - if you like horseradish with your prime rib, opt for the creamy instead of spicy! I usually like the spicier kind, but this one was a 10 on a scale from 1-5. Wow! We didn't get to Moonraker to eat. The place looks nice but for us the prices were far too steep, ranging from $50 - $100 per plate. It does sit overlooking the ocean, but they are only open for dinner, so the ocean view isn't a bonus except maybe during the summer when the days are longer. Our room was an "ocean view" but here is my only real complaint: we were on the second floor and most of our view was blocked by Nick's. The view we did have was not great because the windows were filthy and streaked from the outside. A third-floor room would have offered a better view but still may have been negatively affected by the lack of clean windows. Overall, I would recommend this hotel

The heat and air conditioner was noisy so had to turn off to sleep Also a bottle of water to make coffee or tea in room, but coffee was available in the Lobby but no juice.

When I booked the room I was looking for the ocean view. We go to the room the ocean view was of the restaurant. Not much of a beach view. Probably could have changed roomed if said something but I was so frustrated I didn’t want to complain. Very helpful.

The gentleman at the front desk was super helpful. When I got there I had a problem with my credit card. I was able to pay cash. Super helpful when asked for nearest bank and store. I was so stressed from the drive but they were very accommodating, I even lost the key to the room when we left for the money.

Room ocean view blocked by another building.

We paid extra for an ocean view but our room barely have a view of the ocean as it was blocked by the building.

The cleanliness wasn’t 100%. There was a used napkin under our chair and the bathroom was kind of dirty. Also, the flooring was coming up and every time you stepped on it, cement dust would rise above your foot. It was odd.

Loved the views and the convenience of where it was at.

The tub fixtures were pulled off as someone was trying to snake the drain. Tub was not draining well. Our bottom sheet was short sheeted by about 2 feet, which means our feet/calves were lying on mattress along with who knows what has been on mattress for years. I’m sure the mattresses are not disinfected between guests.

Staff were very nice and helpful it was a very quick walk to the beach and hiking. Know that they charge you $15 to park on property, but there is free parking on street right under the rooms. Nice Keurig coffee maker.

Was not expecting to pay for parking, parking lot is extremely small and very hard to maneuver with a large vehicle. Our room did not have a lever to turn our shower on, we had to move rooms at night after we had realized we couldnt turn the shower on. Staff came to the room to help, but also realized the shower would not turn on. Rooms are not very clean, looks like housekeeping does the best they can, but room upgrades are desperately needed. Floor panels would pop up, or slide across the floor. Towels were stained and bathtub was too dirty to sit in. The guy at the front desk was more than helpful and sweet. He is the only reason this review is marked as high as it is.

Location is amazing, staff is always incredibly helpful and friendly.

The outside of the hotel (the hallways and elevator) seemed a little run down. I know the salt air destroys everything, so that was probably part of it, but I was hoping for it to be cleaner and more well kept.

The view was pretty great and the location was perfect!
