I can't think of anything to improve upon. I felt safe, I got a great nights sleep, and the scenery was amazing!

The room was really clean and smelled great. The location was awesome, nearby all the attractions yet nestled in the woods. The staff was helpful and kind - even mailed back my daughter's stuffed animal after she left it there! We had breakfast at the restaurant and it was delicious and affordable!

Great location and staff was very accommodating. Would stay again. Could use a little TLC in the bathroom area but all was clean and comfy and price was right. Restaurant was wonderful.

The only thing I could find as a negative is that they're not open all year. We wanted to stay again, but we're lucky enough to have gotten a stay right before they close for the season. Wonderful place!

We loved everything about powder house lodge! The rooms were clean, comfortable, pet friendly, and pleasantly located. The restaurant served amazing, large sized portion meals. We can't wait to return next year!

The size of the cabin could have been a little bigger, And would have been nice to have a regular coffee pot instead of the pods.

The location, Close to a lot of things to do, Cabin was a tad small, But it was comfortable. It was nice to have a restaurant right there, And reasonably priced with good food.

We had a squirrel attack the exterior wall, gnawing on the wood for several hours our last night there. But we don't fault the facility. When you are in the woods, the critters can make themselves pests when they want to!

Very conveniently located to reach Mt Rushmore and Crazy Horse. Yet not too close to the bustle of Keystone. It is situated next to a highway, which concerned us at first. But it really quiets down at night and it didn't negatively impact our sleep.

In the two queen room I had to pull the filter and clean the air-conditioning Finns as it was not cooling after that ac worked fine, the cabin the fridge was turned off but not drained and leaning forward so when I turned on drained on the floor, we cleaned it

I really like how friendly the staff was, clean, stayed in both cabin and two queen room, had all the amenities we needed, looking forward to staying here again 👍

Parking in front of cabin was a small. Could see daylight between the wall and floor by one of the beds.

We were hoping the water was hooked up to the fridge for making ice and for drinking water. But other than that it was great!

Beautiful area of the Black Hills, 10 min from Mount Rushmore, good food, perfect cabin tucked in the trees. Worth the trip from Colorado for sure, would recommend to friends and family
