Its location was quiet and better for couples without kids. It was a drive to go anywhere for a drink or food which at times can be challenging with young kids.

I loved the style of suite. Large, spacious with a big tub to use after a rainy day. The grounds, pool and tennis court were emaculate.

The complex as a whole is a little tired-looking and not well maintained. As an example: we used the vacuum cleaner provided to clean out the dryer lint catch so our clothes would actually dry. Guests should not need to perform routine maintenance on the rooms in order for them to be usable. The other negative is that there was no AC, and while the louvred windows and screens were adequate for allowing the trade winds to keep the room cool during the day, when we closed them at night (for privacy, security, and quiet) the bedroom was on the hot side.

We had a 1bdrm apartment and the room was huge! There was plenty of room to spread out, the kitchen was well equipped, it was really convenient having laundry at the end of our trip. The location was convenient to Hanalei and housekeeping was responsive to our requests.

Units are old. We stayed in a one bedroom condo. The lock off second bedroom was used by another party. Even though that unit had a separate outside entrance there was a locked door directly into our unit. We could hear voices, coughs etc the door was not well sealed for light and sound.

location of the unit right next to the highway, Windows are open for air flow which was fine but roosters were crowing all night. Noise cancelling ear buds kept falling out.

It needs proper maintenance. The gardens are immaculate but the water machine at the pool wasn’t working, the pool itself needed re-lining/coating, the curtains are rotting, the emergency exit staircase floorboards are rotting. Nothing seems particularly clean in Hawaii, windows, mirrors etc, but maybe that’s the climate? Also a voucher was given to use at the nearest supermarket - 10% off if you spend $50 or more. But it expired at the end of 2023 and we were given it in Sept 2024.

Location and the room itself was amazingly spacious. Whole apartment!

Bed was a little uncomfortable. Could hear other guests in their rooms, TV's, snoring, etc. Stairs were a little hard to climb with luggage.

Little bummed that one pool was closed so there was only one. The washer was very touchy. It didn’t want to work all the time, and shut off randomly. The mattresses was pretty worn. You had sleeping groves on it.

The complex looked a bit outdated overall, our bathtub and the washing mashine were s bot damaged (nothing major).

Our apartment was huge and had everything we needed (fully equipped kitchen, laundry, dryer). Pool area was nice and had enough chairs when we were there.

On the first night the wifi didn’t work.

The technology within the unit was not working. Cable tv in both tvs did not work. Service rep was able to fix it the next day. The following day the wifi, which we had connected to and worked the day prior, was not working. The technician came again and this time fixed with an extension cord. I guess the electrical plug was loose (and not fixed). These by themselves are not huge issues and were addressed fairly quickly, but they really should not happen and require us to call for help and wait for techs to resolve, especially at the price we paid for the unit and the cost of our time in this expensive paradise.

Nice overall layout, good location, great access to the north shore.
