Although we didn't spend to much time at the hotel, we were very please with its room.

While I don’t go to NYC for the hotel experience; I need a safe, quiet, and comfortable place to rest and sleep, this was too efficient for the price. I had a single room with a bunk bed. The bed itself was comfortable enough but since there was one plastic desk chair for sitting, I found myself sitting on the edge of my bed therefore constantly hitting my head on the top bunk. There is zero storage/closet/counter space. Even though I don’t fully unpack, a couple of drawers or something other than three pegs on the wall would have been nice. The biggest challenge was the odd shower set-up. The shower head points out of the walk in shower. To keep from flooding the bathroom, you have to hold the shower curtain completely closed, turn on the water and then try to slip in from the side.

The hotel is located in a safe, quiet, residential area of the UWS with easy access to both the subway and Central Park. You can walk to the Met in about 15 minutes and Zabars is a block away. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful.

Close to subway, friendly staff and could leave my bags after checking out but before heading to the airport. Storage under bed was great

Small and slow elavators and small rooms as well, an intial shock but not a deal breaker just an FYI if you are tall people

Amazing location for the cost. Riverside park on one side and central park a block over on the other, main subway line a block away and great shops nearby. A cute neighbourhood, great helpful staff. Allowed bag storage, and was everything we needed which was basically a place to rest and recharge. Coffee service included down stairs, felt safe with door locking and staff manning also.

Only bad thing was the fire alarm that went off while taking a hot shower. But, we were able to turn it off pretty fast. No biggie

I booked a twin bunk room for single use because it was the last one available; the room was WAY TOO SMALL to comfortably accommodate this. There wasn't enough room for me to open my suitcase in the space -there is no chance that two people could feasibly stay in this room in comfort. I think the bunk beds also prevented the heat generated from the ceiling unit from reaching me on the bottom bunk, so I struggled to sleep in the freezing cold. The room really needs to be adjusted to a single accommodation.

Great location in New York City with a nice view from the room; wonderfully cheery and helpful staff; nicely furnished with a decent communal space on the ground floor - and the first place I was able to get a cup of English tea since my arrival in the USA!

I was there with a friend in a twin - bedroom and the bathroom door was a bit transparent so you could see inside. Something to consider if you are not family / couple

Small hotel room, but not too small and was perfect for me as a solo traveller. The staff were absolutely amazing, so friendly and accommodating. Free tea and coffee facilities, a 24/7 gym, free water refilling station. A perfect location very close to the subway. Does everything a hotel should do, and I will 100% book again for next year!

With largest suitcases would be unable to put them out on the floor, so would have to use bed. Mid sized just about opened on floor though. Tap also in an awkward position very close to the side of sink

We reserved and paid for a park view room, but were given a room on the first floor with a view of the street. We’re were told that because we were both tall, this is was the only room with a bed that could accommodate us. We were dubious to say the least. The room was noisy starting with trash trucks in the early morning. The windows were quite drafty.

The location is perfect : easy to get around the city and lots of dining and shopping within walking distance. The staff was pleasant.

The only thing that I have to say is that the sink in our room had a draining issue, it took a long time for the water to go down, but that’s about it very nice!!

Very clean, the workers were very nice, the property was in a good area, the room was clean, offered a lot of amenities, the train station was close by made it very easy to get around, very safe, the room was in very good condition. Overall I enjoyed this hotel!!
