Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ItalyThe hotel was a bit small, the rooms were too (but that’s ok), odd choice of a sink next to the bed and not in the bathroom.
Nice rooms - excellent location

United StatesRoom was a bit loud with another establishment downstairs but we went out around the same time so didn't effect sleep when we returned. AC needed a quick service which they handled quickly; was adjusted by the time we returned from dinner - appreciated the attentive staff.
The staff we had at check in and check out was excellent, wish I recalled his name. Very professional, courteous and friendly. Bartender at pool was very kind too! Enjoyed lounging at the cozy rooftop pool, nothing huge but a great place to grab a drink, cool off, read my book and take in the sun - lots of seating options too. Did not have a chance to enjoy the other food / drink options at the hotel. Everything looked intimate, cozy and a nice boutique hotel feel - VERY clean room and lobby - cleaning staff deserves a positive mention.

AustraliaNothing , only marked it down as it’s expensive for what it is, but all the hotels in the area are over priced for what they are.
Nothing to fault, would stay again. Location, amenities, all very good.

United StatesThe lack of free coffee either in the room, or a coffee service in the lobby. This is a basic amenity offered at most hotels, basic to luxury.
This is a simple, small boutique hotel in the heart of South Beach. The rooms are clean but small. There are no amenities like a coffee machine in the room, or free coffee in the lobby, but there is a lovely counter cafe on the property for coffee, snacks, etc. It feels like a small European hotel, definitely not like a sprawling American style hotel/motel. I appreciated that this is an adults only hotel. The decor is simple, but comfortable, the rooms are small, the bldg is historic art deco. It is located next to a night club, we were able to shut the double doors and play white noise to not be bothered, but I can see there is a potential to be disturbed by the thumping music. The rate was fair in comparison with other hotels nearby.

AustraliaVery limited amenities.. no tea or coffee in room, no in room dining, long wait at the cafe. You pay $42 for a day pass and the front desk is often out of towels and the beach includes the sun lounges but you need to pay extra for an umbrella. There are some little things that could add to the otherwise beautiful property.
Great location. Beautiful design, high quality finishes.

United StatesOur room facing the street was really loud on the weekend. The hotel provided us with earplugs. If you’re comfortable wearing them, you should be fine. My ears are just so small that they hurt me after a couple of hours.
Hotel Greystone really felt like a home away from home. Everybody was really nice and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the room had everything we needed. We enjoyed the beach chairs and the rooftop bar. If you get the chance, try the Severene Restaurant. We had a great Thanksgiving dinner there.

AustraliaOur garden terrace room wasn't well insulated against noise. Unfortunately we were woken up several times throughout the night due to a closeby nightclub and the road traffic noise. In fairness, they did have ear buds on the bedside but I could still hear the noise while using them.
Staff were amazing, rooftop pool area was nice and it was an easy stroll to Ocean Dr. The foyer and bar area were nice areas to enjoy.
