I found the bedspreads to be quite dated and need an update. They didn't align with the overall aesthetic of the place and felt somewhat out of touch with modern decor trends. A more contemporary design would have significantly enhanced the comfort and appeal of the space.

I adored the location. It was ideally situated, offering breathtaking views and convenient access to nearby attractions. The surrounding area was vibrant and charming, making every moment enjoyable. Additionally, I truly appreciated the value. The experience exceeded my expectations, providing excellent quality for the price. It was refreshing to find such a great deal that didn’t compromise on comfort or amenities, making it a worthwhile investment for my stay.

The rooms could use a thorough cleaning and some updating. Thermostat was broken (falling off of the wall) and pumping heat on an 80 degree day. The window was wide open, which I just happened to notice. Mini fridge was dirty and falling apart. Air filters were very dirty. With that said - All very fixable things :)

The college campus is so quiet and clean. There were local police and campus security driving around all the time. The students at the front desk were so polite and accommodating. There was nothing else available me this weekend and, another parent recommended looking into this and, I’m glad we did :)

Add more choices to breakfast.

Rooms were clean. Toilet was decent. Breakfast was a minimum. There was no black coffee at the time. Good location outside. You can visit University.

A/C unit in first room was broken 2nd room toilet was backed up . Will say that cleaning staff took care of that immediately

Since this is run by the hospitality dept, we expected more hospitality. We felt the people just did their jobs, hotel guests are just another object they handled during their job function. No one cleaned the rooms, nor did breakfast supplies timely replenish. When asked about the lacunas all we got was a standard hollow oh, is that so, I'm so sorry :). This is in general a US hospitality issue, anywhere around the world hotels really take care of the guests and are not treated as a process or a job.

This was a pleasant surprise for us, the hotel facility within the University run by uni staff and students. What we liked more was the thought that went into setting up such a facility in a sprawling campus. The hotel can be a good stopover for visiting the Assateague parks or for conventions and such held at the campus.

It's run by students, and when they are doing other tasks, they aren't always there to check you in. You might have to wait, which is not so great when all you want to do is get in your room

The location is perfect if you have any events at UMES. Clean rooms.

Free breakfast needs to be upgraded or change it to ‘grab and go’ breakfast because it’s not a full breakfast.

Once we were able to locate the property everything was good for the most part.

Room was dark. Not enough light. Had to move coffee maker to the window to fit into an electric outlet. Couldn't control temperature in room. Not the greatest for working in room. Small table, lamp on it takes a lot of desk top. Needs more outlets near work station. Before booking picture showed provided computer with printer....NO printer. Staff saved my butt and printed off of a flash drive I had.

Staff was fantastic. Nice room. Good pillows. Nice surroundings of a college campus. Shower was nice and they even supplied Scope mouthwash. Very convenient to old Princess Anne. They also have the Ella Fitzgerald performing arts center next door to catch a show. Nice place hardly used.
