The room has a number of dips in the floor. The shower was not working well and there wasn't any room in the sink for things like toothbrushes and such. The television didn't work great and had several channels that didn't work.

The amenities were really ornate and historic. I really enjoyed the Mission Inn Cafe and also the colorful and beautiful art on the and the historical significance of the property. The staff was great and the location was amazing.

The water in the wall running at night keeping me up in our suite. The slowness of the front desk staff to help or offer help.

The architecture. The Patio Restaurant and Mexican Restaurant. The man, newer employee who is in charge of maintenance and engineering was wonderful. He saved our view of the whole experience by treating us well. I wish all of your staff behaved as he.

The housekeeping for the room was not good. I had to call 3 times to have someone clean the room. They finally came after 5:00 pm and spent 10 minutes in the room. No new cups were left for coffee and I do not think they cleaned the bathroom

Loved the hotel and its history. We took the tour of mission inn and the guide was excellent

This is my second visit staying over public walk/shop area. Too much late night individual music/singing below our room. Didn’t mind it until after 10 pm. It went until midnight both nights we were there.

Always love staying at this hotel! Lots of wonderful memories and good times here. Restaurants are great.

We have stayed here about five times. It is a beautiful, historic hotel. Unfortunately we always have something go wrong. We have been downgraded with no compensation. Supposedly a manager was going to call us, they never do. Our reservation has been misplaced so we are tucked into some small corner room. Illegal resort fees charged at check in. The young women at the front desk are inexperienced so getting things sorted out is futile. Honestly we started looking for another place to stay. No one wants a negative surprise on your vacation time.

I like the Hotel, except that our first night we weren’t able to sleep because that was to noisy outside, our room was towards the street. Around 1:40 AM We ended up asking front desk to move us to a quiet spot! Which they did. Other than that everything was fine.

We were disappointed that the jacuzzi was not working (the water was cold). Other guests seemed disappointed as well but hotel did not seem to be in any rush to fix the issue. There was no sign that apologized for the fact that it wasn't working, which was a bit odd. A breakfast option that is not an $80 buffet would be nice.

Amazing to be able to spend the night in such a gorgeous historic landmark. Comfortable room and beds.

The Mission Inn is a truly stunning property — from its historic architecture and lush, flower-filled grounds to the peaceful pool area and overall cleanliness, it feels like a five-star resort. You could easily spend hours just exploring. That said, the service doesn’t quite match the setting; staff aren’t particularly warm or attentive, and little details like room service trays left in the hallway all day detract from the experience. But to be fair, you’re also not paying Four Seasons prices — it’s quite affordable for what you get, and in that sense, it delivers great value. Just go in knowing it’s more about the atmosphere than the service.

Our room. We stayed in room 169. There is a nook along the outer wall that was quite damp and made the room smell a bit dank. The bed wasn't great for the price we paid and the internet didn't reach the room. We had to go out to a sitting room in the hall to use the internet.

The hotel itself is wonderful to be in. We spent close to an hour exploring its vast hallways.
