Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Very thin walls; voices from other rooms clearly audible. Breakfast room is a little dumpy. Generally, the facility was not as nice as the room.
Clean room with newer furnishings. Nice shower. Good breakfast, sausage, bacon, eggs, yoghurt and assorted cereals and breads. Coffee available all day.

Overall it was good but. I stayed here 3 seasons ago and it was newly remodeled. Now it needs drywall repairs in exit stairwells, my bathroom had something splattered on the wall behind the toilet, the laminate flooring in front of the shower is de-laminating, the wall AC/Heater has a broken air vent and it had a “rattle’ when it was running, the switch for the lighting above the headboard works intermittently.

Our room was only cleaned once in 4 nights. Walls are extremely thin (or not isolated enough), so you can hear any noise and even people talking from adjacent rooms. The hot tub advertised in the pictures was closed. No elevator.
The room itself was ok, even though not too big to accommodate 4 people. They had covered parking, which is an advantage. Breakfast was ok. Decent location in Mammoth village.

Only virtual staff available when we checked in, which worked great except that our room only had one bath towel and they were unable to help us that night. Seems like advertising 24hr service isn’t quite accurate.
Great location, good breakfast and covered garage parking. Room was nice and cozy, shower was great.

Even though the room was good, there were couple of issues specific to inns - very thin walls (our neighbors, unfortunately, preferred to watch their tv very loudly) and noisy ac/heater. Solved the second problem by heating up the room and then turning it off for the night. Night temps were just a bit below zero, so it worked just fine. And, of course, the price. Same thing in Bishop for half the money, but it's Mammoth during the season, what can you do.
Room was good, not big, but with decent fresh finishes, all the amenities. Modern bathroom, comfortable bed. The inn itself and its public spaces doesn't look like much, but the room was nice. Also the breakfast was better than a usual fare in the inns. Part of their parking is under the roof, which is a good thing in winter. Great location.

I did not like the noise. There is only little soundproofing between rooms, and in the room, appliances are quite noisy, specifically the heater and the mini fridge would wake me up at night. I don’t think it’s easy to improve soundproofing, but at least putting quiet thermoelectric chillers instead of those with a loud motor would go a long way.
The property is conveniently located, has reasonably spacious rooms, underground garage, jacuzzi, and a good breakfast. The staff is friendly and check in is very efficient.

Be aware there is no lift so had to lug bags up steps - not a big deal but may be an issue for some.
Comfortable rooms, recently refurbished, a little on the small side but fine for a short stay. Location was excellent, close to everything, and included breakfast was substantial and much appreciated.
