Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

It is really very old hotel and very outdated. It needs a complete renovation. Especially for this room rate.
The location was great, lot of parking , wifi worked great, nice patio. The people working are all very friendly!

We paid 200.00 a night and they had a note on the desk that aid housekeeping staff was short and they would not be servicing our room. We had to ask for towels and pile up old towels in the corner of the bathroom! Breakfast was served 6a to 9a and by 8 a the service staff was overwhelmed with the numbers of people and were refusing to put out more warm food items. For 200.00 a night it was disappointing.
It was clean, check in staff were nice!

The booking.com website price was higher than the motel cost which we didn't get. The booking.com website should offer better pricing, such as senior discount.
The staff, Raven had noticed our request for a quiet room and accommodated. The hotel was relatively clean.

The breakfast I couldn't eat anything because I have gluten and dairy allergies. The price I paid was more then what was noted on booking.com plus the hotel clerk said she was giving us a discount which was not correct either

For the price of this room, I feel the bathroom needs some attention. The floor should be replaced, or fixed right, as it was cracked and repaired poorly. The tub also looked a little rough. And if you didn’t push the handle back up on the toilet after flushing it stuck and kept running water.
It was pleasant, staff at check in were nice and efficient. The room was clean.

The bathroom wasn't cleaned as well as it should have been. I found a dirty wash cloth on top of the shower curtain and there was hair in the tub. I didn't notice it until I took a shower the next morning after checking in. Also the bed sheet was put on inside out on one bed and the other wasn't fully made, just not tucked in. I won't be coming back sorry to say.

Vacuumed dead bugs an killed all wasps people in my group got stung in there rooms
It was excellent breakfast variety. Could use some chocolate milk for kids !

Internet did not work on my Samsung pad which worked fine just down the street at a restaurant and the previous night at a cheap motel. Surly front desk supervisor said that it was my problem, not theirs. It worked fine elsewhere since. Breakfast was commensurate with those at low-end economy lodging.
Clean, but dated. No frills, but adequate.

Not good value at all. The rooms are seriously dated. The tub and toilet might have been clean but it was impossible to tell because they were so stained and just looked disgusting. The sheets were literally see-through and the comforter was so thin it really couldn’t even be called a comforter. The continental breakfast was exceedingly basic and they didn’t even have lids for the coffee cups. This stuff would bother me a lot less if I had paid a bargain price, but I definitely didn’t. In my opinion, the room was worth less than a hundred dollars, and I paid almost twice that for my one-night stay. I’m not sure what the pricing is like for the other hotels in Valentine, but I have to imagine you’d be better off with the Quality Inn.
The staff was nice enough, I locked myself out of my room and the woman at the front desk was very understanding and replace my key card right away.

Sheets were full of black pet hair on both beds. Lots of people hair on the bathroom floor. Room door didn’t lock when leaving the room.
