They didn’t honor our request for adjacent rooms More info on how to check in after hours. I needed a key card to get to check-in so when I tried to open the door I couldn’t and there was no buzzer. Staff did hear me and let me in.

The only things we didn't love were the cheap toilet paper, and the fact that there's no ice machine.

Staff is friendly and checks in on your throughout your stay. It's a 12 minute walk to the plaza and the beds are very comfortable. There's plenty of towels, a kitchenette, and the pool and hot tub are nice!

more coffee packets needed in the room when we arrived as we stayed for five days and there was not a daily room check from house keepimg. This was not a big probelem...but since you asked..

Nice little patio but it looked onto the parking lot. This was not a problem for us as we did not use the room or this property as a destination, it was just a place to sleep and rest between hiking and doing other activities off property

Well, what sucked for us this short trip were 2 things. 1, it was that. Short. We had too many other things going on but we needed a break. and 2. Well, we both got the flu just before driving the 9 1/2 hr trip. We both stayed in bed most of the time there. THat's not the VIllas fault. But those were the 2 things were bad.

Everything was great! We try to get to Santa Fe as much as possible. Both of our careers are extremely busy. But after this short trip, we would like to make the Villas our regular place to stay while we are in SF.

Rooms seem to be a little less sound muffling than a typical hotel room; not an issue really for our stay for the most part but could be more of an issue during a busier season.

Liked the large amount of room and plentiful parking per building. Staff was also so nice and checked in to make sure all was good. Love the option of text communication and check out especially since the property is more spread out than a typical hotel.

Washer & dryer were out of service. I usually use them on our frequent trips to santa Fe. Miss the fancy coffee machine. It was a special amenity Ice machine in the first building was out of order. Had to walk across the street and up to the 3rd floor to get ice.

It was difficult to control the inside temperature of the unit. We had to keep a window open most of our stay. It was just too hot most of the time.

I used to complain about the added resort fee, but that's gone now. So no complaints at all.

    1. Great facilities! Separate bedroom; well-equipped kitchenette with full-size refrig, comfortable beds & chairs; good dining-room table; pleasing decor; small balcony; parking. 2. Surprisingly low rates at many times of the year. They often get lower as the dates you'd like to be there approach, perhaps due to unexpectedly low demand. 3. Excellent location. Easy to get to, easy to park, and only a few short blocks from the plaza.

We booked a suite and it perfectly, suited our needs. We were able to eat in, sometimes, so didn’t always have to got to restaurants. The layout of the suite was very comfortable. All staff were very professional, friendly and efficient. We have already booked to return, in May.

Although it is easily walkable to the downtown Santa Fe area, there is a very busy road (with fast moving vehicles and road construction barricades) which you must cross to get there. We are in our late 70’s and felt insecure attempting it, even with a traffic signal. Parking downtown is limited and expensive. But Santa Fe has great Visitors Centers and we found a free bus service, plenty of parking on the fringes, and easy walking or bus drop off everywhere we wanted to go. (We had to drive about, tried parking meters and finding spots. Walking farther than we felt comfortable. But we happened on a Visitor Center and asked the right question!). Maybe the Hotel could expand on and proactively offer this information freely to families and older guests. (We came in December and presumed we could not park in the State legislature parking lot next to the Oldest Church & Visitor Center. But we were told about the bus there and that during the months that the Legislature was not in session, it was available to park there free)

These are vacation suites - as secluded as you want but with all of the amenities you might enjoy. Very comfortable. Had everything we needed. Wonderful staff. Close to all the downtown history, galleries, wonderful churches, varied and great restaurants. We spent a week. Loved it. Even though it was cold in December, they have a nice indoor area next to the lobby where we enjoyed a fireplace and comfortable furnishings. When we didn’t want to eat out, there was a great grocery a few blocks away and we had everything we needed to cook and even BBQ at home.
